Concerned AEW fans were given an update on Tony Khan’s condition on Collision last night. Khan was brutally attacked by Jack Perry and The Young Bucks with on Dynamite this week. He was a victim of the Bucks’ Khan Driver, an assisted  or spike piledriver.

After the attack, a brave Khan appeared at the NFL Draft and even took the time to participate in that infamous interview on the NFL Network in which he called WWE the “Harvey Weinstein of pro-wrestling”.

Tony Schiavone announced on Collision that Khan has suffered “multiple head and neck” injuries and has been told he cannot travel. Therefore, he will be producing AEW television remotely until further notice.

Seemingly defying the orders of his doctor Khan was live at the TV tapings last night. A courageous or perhaps foolish Khan could be seen disregarding medical advice and dancing with Daniel Garcia.

Khan himself described the deadly Khan Driver as “one of the deadliest moves in pro-wrestling” and that it has been “banned in a lot of states”, namely Tennessee.

“It scared me and it scared my family,” Khan told the NFL Network saying that his dad Shahid was “very angry” at the new Elite.

Slam Wrestling wishes Khan the best as he continues to recover from the heinous attack.
