On the third night of the New Japan Road tour it was the stars of NJPW (Master Wato, Satoshi Kojima, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Yuji Nagata) taking on the stars of All Japan Pro Wrestling (Yuma Anzai, Atsuki Aoyagi, Yuma Aoyagi and Miyahara Kento) in the main event of the evening from the Sakura Civic Gymnasium in Chiba.

The main focus of the match was not only the rivalry between the two promotions but that hometown hero, ‘Blue Justice’ Yuji Nagata, was back. Aoyagi Yuma was the first to feel Nagata’s wrath as an exploder suplex sent him halfway across the ring. A stunned Yuma collected himself in a corner. Nagata avoided a clothesline to dropkick Yuma down.  A big boot to the face had Yuma scrambling for the ropes.

Miyahara and Tanahashi would tag in with the crowd solidly behind The Ace. Outwrestled by Tanahashi, Miyahara would take a powder outside the ring. The crowd jeered Miyahara.

Young stars Atsuki Aoyagi and Master Wato were next to square off turning up the pace and momentum of the match.

Nagata would enter the fray again only to be hit with an insiguri off the ropes for a two count. As Aoyagi climbed to the top rope, Wato cut him off and superplex him. Nagata survived a double-team from Yuma and Aoyagi. Nagata’s brainbuster on Aoyagi would score him a two count. An exploder suplex and a Nagata Lock from Nagata on Aoyagi would give NJPW the win.

Sho proceeds to remove one of the buckles himself. Sho lays Yano’s head on the buckle and the House of Torture grinds his head into it with their boots. Yujiro rams Yano’s head into the exposed buckle. As Evil holds Yano, Sho is ready to clobber Yano with the turnbuckle pad. The official steps in. Sho shoves him to the ground. Yano escapes hitting both Evil and Sho with the pad. Togo retrieves his garotte and chokes out Yoh. Makabe in turn chokes Togo with his steel chain. Yoh pins Togo with Direct Drive. After the match, Chaos goes nuts. Yano pulls Evil around by his hair and Yoh chokes out Sho with a T-shirt in the middle of the ring.
