It is not often that The House of Torture is out flanked and out schemed but they were tonight. A tricky Zack Sabre Jr. pulled one over on them. He made his entrance as per usual, except he was wearing a COVID protective mask and a hat that said…”I am ZSJ”.

Evil and Togo attacked ZSJ as he made his way down. Togo ripped off the hat and mask to reveal the Young Lion, Kosei Fujita. Evil throttled Fujita and told Togo to check backstage. The real ZSJ came through the curtain with Togo in an arm lock. He then grabbed Evil from behind and walked both of them to the ring. Evil and Togo turned things around slamming ZSJ into the side of the ring. ZSJ shoved Evil into the ringside barrier before rolling him into the ring. The bell finally rang to start the match. Zach ran Evil into an exposed turnbuckle that Togo stripped bare earlier.

ZSJ and his pal aren’t saying the House of Torture are “number two” that much is clear. Courtesy: NJPW.

Togo grabbed ZSJ’s leg from the floor. ZSJ spun around cranking Togo’s arms, wrist and hand. ZSJ saved the official from being clobbered by Evil as he pulled him out of the way. ZSJ blocked Evil’s low blow with the same twisting move he used on Togo. ZSJ slipped out of Everything is Evil, turned it into a roll-up for the victory. It was the shortest match of the tournament clocking in at 44 seconds.

ZSJ congratulated Fujita on the rampway. They threw Evil and Togo the two-finger salute as they left. The gesture in Commonwealth countries means…Up yours! The same as thumbing your nose at someone. An interesting aside, me dropping some knowledge, the gesture is said to have originated with English bowman who would throw up the sign to their French enemies on the battlefield as the French would cut off those fingers of captured bowman to make sure they couldn’t operate the weapon ever again. The more you know, indeed.
