“Crowbar” Chris Ford, Twitter: One of the most enjoyable and fun times of my career was working with Shannon at my side. We had *FUN* Neither of us could believe the blessing that we were given – the opportunity to perform on the grand stage of WCW. Each and every moment was appreciated by us. And we tried to make every moment *FUN* She truly lit up a room and brought smiles to everyone around her. These memories have and always will be cherished and hold a special place in my heart. Rest In Peace, God bless and love you my friend. 🙏🏻

Kevin Eck, WCW Magazine, Twitter : Incredibly sad news about Daffney (Shannon Spruill). We met 20 years ago in WCW. She was a sweet, genuine person and so much fun to work with and be around. We kept in touch long after WCW closed. I even refereed one of her matches in MCW back in 2009. Unfortunately, we gradually lost touch except for an occasional FB message. I know the past few years have been a struggle for her. I hope she is at peace now. My deepest condolences to her family and everyone who loved her.

Mickie James, Instagram: My friend. My beautiful friend. Shannon, I love you. I am so sorry. I am heartbroken. I hope you can see now just how loved you truly are. This photo is from when I came to OVW in 2003. We started as roommates & from that day on you were always my soul sister. I will never forget you. I am at a loss for words. I am thinking of you, The Colonel, your family, friends, and so many affected today by this tragedy. You are never alone.
