Throughout the 70’s, ‘Cowboy’ Dan Kroffat was a staple in Stu Hart’s legendary Calgary-based promotion, Stampede Wrestling. Kroffat is accredited for being an originator of the ladder match stipulation. Since his retirement in 1985, Kroffat has since been a key name in the cattle and automotive industry, where he opened a used car dealership called Daniel’s Auto Wholesale Centre.
