The worst keep secret in wrestling didn’t spike the television ratings.

The highly-anticipated and predicted AEW debut of Mercedes Moné on AEW Dynamite this week may have excited some fans but it wasn’t enough to boost the show’s stagnant to sagging ratings.

This week’s edition of Dynamite brought in 801,000 overnight viewers. The key demos were 0.27 which was the same as last week’s show.

Dynamite’s average viewership over the last two months has been 823,857 viewers. The average key demo rating has been 0.28.

If one looks at the recent AEW debuts they too haven’t been able to spike ratings or bring in new viewers or fans.

Last week’s debut of Kazuchika Okada was seen by 779,000 viewers and Edge’s debut pulled in 800,000 viewers and his first match 609,000.

During her debut Moné cut an emotional promo and then rescued Willow Nightingale from a beatdown by Julia Hart and Skye Blue.
