Greetings and salutations! It’s a another huge episode of AEW Dynamite for the company as they continue to define what this new era for the company looks like. On this weeks show we have the rumoured debut of Mercedes Moné. Also on the show we have an AEW Championship match as the champion Samoa Joe defends the title against Wardlow. We also have The new Elite of the EVP’s (Young Bucks) and Okada taking on Eddie Kingston, PAC, and Penta El Zero Miedo. We will also see Jay White taking on Darby Allin, and the main event will be Riho taking on Willow Nightingale. With all of this action we should go straight to the action!


We see Boston then we jump to Renee Paquette. We see a Mercedes-Benz drive into the arena but we don’t know who’s in the car! The announcers hype the card.


Mercedes Moné is All Elite


Mercedes Moné comes out to some new music! The Bosston fans chant “CEO”. Moné is seen very emotional. Moné says she is home, and her heart is beating out of her chest. She thanks the fans supporting her. Moné says she will make magic in AEW then goes into how tonight means a lot to her, as does wrestling. Moné mentions that wrestling has changed her life., and says that Eddie Guerrero helped her so she could do this. Moné says she was part of the Women’s Evolution. Moné brings up past accomplishments and says that she NEEDS to be here [AEW] and wants to be here [AEW].

Moné says that AEW is the only place that can male this new revolution global and promises that it will happen. Moné says she is looking forward to getting into it with the AEW roster. Moné then puts her attention to Willow Nightingale and says they have unfinished business. Mercedes says she is “All Elite”. She thanks Tony Khan and the fans and calls herself the new CEO.


Renee Paquette is with AEW Champion Samoa Joe. Joe says that he owes Wardlow a debit and Wardlow is overdue. Joe says he doesn’t lose at the TD Garden.

It’s story time with Adam Cole. Cole is reading through a book and tells us a story about Wardlow where he highlights his road to tonight’s championship match. Cole says Wardlow was missing a kingdom of brethren, and he found one in the Undisputed Kingdom. Cole says that Wardlow will slay the beast to complete the prophecy.


AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) VS Wardlow (with Undisputed Kingdom)


Wardlow gets started early and sends Joe hard into the barricade. Joe mounts a comeback, but Wardlow overpowers him and slams him hard. Wardlow has control of the match until Joe hits Wardlow with a bunch of strikes. Joe hits Wardlow with a Back Elbow that finally drops him. Joe takes control of the match , until Wardlow fights back and climbs the middle rope. Joe does his signature walk-away, but Wardlow anticipated that and ends up hitting Joe with a shoulder block for a 2-count.

Joe comes back and hits some strong punches. Wardlow jams his knee and the ref checks on him, while backing Joe off. Wardlow was faking and gouges Joe in the eyes. Wardlow with a Knee strike for another 2-count. Joe is down and Wardlow goes for a Senton, but Joe moves out of the way, and punches Wardlow, sending him to the corner. Wardlow is in the corner, but Wardlow overpowers Joe and after some back and forth, Joe gets out of a Powerbomb and is able to lock in the Coquina Clutch. Wardlow passes out and Joe retains!

Swerve is out with Prince Nana and he fights security off to  make his way to the ring. Joe laughs as he just causally leaves the ring.


Alex Marvez wants to chat with The Elite (Kazuchika Okada and The Elite). The Young Bucks intervene and say that Okada’s passport says “The Rainmaker” on it, so he should be shown respect. Matthew Jackson says they have great synergy. Okada calls out Penta El Zero Miedo, PAC, and Eddie Kingston and then orders Marvez to sing Happy Birthday to Matthew.


The Elite (The Young Bucks & Kazuchika Okada) VS Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo & PAC


Kingston and Okada start us off. Matthew is in along with PAC. They go back and forth and PAC gets the advantage as he tags out to Penta. Penta with a Thrust Kick to Matthew. PAC and Penta double-team Nicholas off the apron, and they focus their offense on Matthew. Okada and Kingston are back int he match and Okada is able to isolate Kingston from his team. Kingston makes a comeback as he hits an Exploder Suplex on all members of The Elite. Okada and Nicholas see the comeback and takeout Penta and Pac so Kingston can’t tag out. Matthew takes control of Kingston again. After more offense from The Elite, Kingston is able to break free and tag Pac in. Pac is in and clears house. PAC with a Kick to Okada, followed by a Missile Dropkick.

PAC and Penta with duo Suicide Dives onto The Elite at ringside. PAC with a Springboard 450 splash for a 2-count. Kingston and Okada are back in and trade blows. The match breaks down and everyone is going at it. Nicholas with a Superkick on Penta. Kingston sends Nicholas into the ropes, but then manages to kick Kingston under the belt, which allows Okada to come in and hit a Rainmaker on Kingston for the win.

Winners: The Elite

With Kingston down, Okada stands over him and grabs the AEW Continental Crown Championship. Okada raises the belt over his head to send a clear message about what he wants.


The feud between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage is shown via a video package. They will fight next week in Toronto in an “I Quit” match.


Will Ospreay talks about Dynasty


Will Ospreay is out and says that that he is a fan of Danielson and that he is happy Danielson is a fan of his. Ospreay said that Danielson told him to prove that he’s the best in the world. Ospreay says that the Tiger Driver 91 is dangerous but worth it. Ospreay says the match against Danielson means a lot to him. Ospreay says the match at Dynasty with Danielson is what AEW is all about. He says the match will bring two of the best wrestlers in the world against each other and at the end we will know who the best wrestler in the world is.


backstage, Deonna Purrazzo says that her war with Toni Storm isn’t over. Purrazzo says she will have no problem finding a partner for a match next week in Toronto. She tells Storm to watch for the shoe, as it’s heading straight up her ass.


Darby Allin VS Jay White


White takes the fight to Allin and is control. Allin with a Dropkick that sends White to the corner. White takes a breather, and Allin with a Suicide Dive onto White at ringside. Allin with a second Dive that sends White into the barricade. The two battle outside of the ring. White takes control and suplexes Allin onto a chair and then whips Allin into the steel steps.

White with a Stinger Splash, and White looks for a Bladerunner, but Allin evades it and hits White with an over-the-shoulder Stunner. Allin climbs the ropes and goes for a Coffin Drop, but catches him and hits a German Suplex. Darby comes right back and hits a Scorpion Death Drop that sends White to the apron, Allin goes for the Coffin Drop with White on the apron, but White moves, and Allin hits the corner of the ring hard. The ref starts his 10-count. Allin slowly gets back in the ring at 9, but White is waiting and hits the Bladerunner for the win.

White and The Gunns celebrate. Allin is up and White goes to shake is hand. Darby turns the hand shake into a “gun” taunt, and Bullet Club Gold attacks Allin. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn run out to make the save. Jay White takes out Billy Gunn with a chair shot. Bullet Club Gold turns on The Acclaimed as well as they unleash on them. White with a chair shot to Allin’s ankle to write him off TV.


HOOK & Chris Jericho VS Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun)


HOOK and Jericho control the match as they hit a Double-Suplex on Kaun. Gates of Agony come back and take on Jericho. Liona smashes Jericho off the apron and onto the floor. Liona is out the ring and slams Jericho hard on the commentary desk. int he ring, Jericho is separated from HOOK. After some offense from Gates of Agony, Jericho rallies and gets the hot-tag to HOOK. HOOK clears house with punches and Suplexes. Kaun takes HOOK down. Liona is in and they look to double team HOOK, but HOOK counters. Jericho takes Liona out as HOOK locks in the Redrum on Kaun for the win.

Kyle O’Reilly is interviewed by Renee Paquette and he reflects on his time away with injury. O’Reilly says he couldn’t even lift his kids up while he was injured so he’s coming back from the very bottom. He wonders if he still has it. He says he has had his sights set on Bryan Keith this Saturday in his home country of Canada on Collision. Roderick Strong interrupts and says he respects and loves Kyle. O’Reilly says that he needs to do this alone. They hug, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven give him a fist bump. O’Reilly thinks whether he can actually go alone….

A video package airs hyping us for the main event of Riho and Willow Nightingale. In the back, Mercedes Moné introduces herself to Riho before the main event.

Backstage, Chris Jericho and HOOK are asked about their win. Jericho jumps in and says HOOK has it. Jericho says HOOK is a future world champion. Jericho says he wants to know what its like to face HOOK so next week in Toronto they will go one on one.


Willow Nightingale VS Riho


Willow and Riho have a 50/50match.  Nightingale takes control as she uses her raw power over Riho. Nightingale with a Suplex. Riho comes back and hits a Tiger Feint Kick. Riho then climbs the ropes and hits a Crossbody for a 2-count. Riho with a Northern Lights Suplex. Willow comes back and gets a Pounce on Riho. After some more back and forth, both women end up fighting on the apron and Riho hits a Dragon Suplex. Willow with a huge Clothesline on Riho, followed by a Doctor Bomb for the win.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

Willow and Riho hug. The lights go out, and Julia Hart is outside of the ring at ringside. Skye Blue and Julia Hart attack Willow. Mercedes Moné comes to the ring to make the save. Moné fights off Hart and Blue. Moné lifts Willow up and raises her arm in celebration and respect. Moné dances to close the show.
