The National Wrestling Alliance is going strong with a handful of championship matches, pikes a tag team bout with Blunt Force Trauma and the Miserably Faithful.  Plus we have a rematch with Big Strong Mims as he attempts to regain the NWA Television Championship from Max the Impaler.

This nicely brings us to a vignette on the Impaler themself ahead of the main event.

And we are at the Powerrr Station (which I assume is in Dothan, Al). Joe Galli and Danny Dealz have the call as the First Match of the Night is for the…

Colby Corino(c) vs. Yabo the Clown

There’s some juggling by Yabo, and he clocks Corino with a pin, which kicks off the match.  Corina lands a spinning senton for two but Yabo manages to retain control and shove some popcorn in his face.  He stomps the champ and an elbow drop misses the mark.  Corino comes back with a cutter for a two count and then he whips him to the ropes, but Yabo escapes and sets the champ up for the Tree of Woe.  He stomps him in the corner, yet the champ recovers and clotheslines him to the floor and Corino follows with a tope to the outside. Corino climbs up on the Powerrr Station and dives on Yabo.  Yabo attempts to connect the “poison balloon” but gets super kicked by Corino and the Zed’s Dead  DDT ends it.

Your Winner via Pinfall, and Still NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion:  Colby Corino

Kenzie and Ella Envy give a promo on what Pretty Empowered and they tell the King Bees they will reclaim the titles they lost.  It’ll be a Pretty Empowered match, and whoever gets the pin will receive a shot at The Burke.  Curious how Kenzie Paige will feel with that stipulation,

Blunt Force Trauma (Carnage and Damage, with Aron Stevens) vs. Miserably Faithful (Sal the Pal and Gaagz the Gymp, with Father James Mitchell)

Yeah, let’s cut to the chase:  Blunt Force Trauma beat down Sal and Gaagz early on in the match.  Gymp backs off and then gets isolated in the corner by Carnage and Damage and he is Miserably in Peril.  He pushes off  Damage to create space and Gaagz tags Sal and he is a Salvation en Fuego.  Sal attempts a sunset flip and Carnage blocks the move, but he counters with a splash (in loafers no less) and follows with a tiger feint and then an elbow drop for a one count.  A tag to Gymp and he and Sal go for a double team, but Damage breaks it up.  Gymp attempts the Gaagz Reflex, but Carnage blocks it and hits a backbreaker and Blunt Force Trauma delivers the double-team finisher elbow drop to secure the pin and the win.

Your Winners via Pinfall: Blunt Force Trauma

Kyle Davis is with EC3 and The Southern Six and even though EC3 went through a Match of Death with Matt Cardona, he still retains the Ten Pounds of Gold and that is because is the the OverMan.  Because he is over…man.

Now The Southern Six have other thoughts, including Silas Mason, as he tells EC3  that no one can survive the ThrillRide to date.  And that’s when Alex Taylor says that when you’re hot, you’re hot.  And when you’re not…they walk off.

The Southern Six tells EC3 (right ) that they’re hot.

Vampiro states he wants to collect, and it’s not about money…it’s about power.

May Valentine is backstage with Joe Cazana and Anthony Andrews. Andrews says the Cazanas bailed on him. Joe says he is the biggest waste of space he dealt with and his sons will send him out.

NWA Undisputed World Television Championship: Max The Impaler(c)(with Father James Mitchell) vs. Big Strong Mims

In case you missed it last time, Max beat Mims to claim both titles.  As for this match, it is contested under the Television title rules with 6:05 on the clock.  The bell rings and Max shoves him to the corner, and Mims sends the champ to the other side.  He clotheslines Max and gets a two count.  Max comes out of the ring for a breather. Mims pursues and is told by the ref to hold off.  They get back in the ring and Max pummels and goes for a splash.  Max is in control until they go for a cannonball at 3:00 in the bout for a two count.  A Vader bomb by Max misses, and a side belly-to-belly suplex by Mims at 2:03 garners another two count.  Max nails Mims with a spear and covers for another count of two at the 1:08 mark.  Time ticks down and Max pummels Mims,  but he counters with a Big Srong Slam and rolls for one, two… and the bell rings so that means because of the rules of the Television title…

Your Winner, and Still NWA Undisputed Television Champion:  Max The Impaler

After the match, Mims puts his hands on Mitchell, as Dak Draper tries to pull him away.

During the post-match interview with Kyle Davis, Mitchell says he hits like a girl, and because he put his hands on him he will be condemned to pain and destruction.  What that means is up to interpretation as the show goes to the credits.

Final Thoughts:

Now a bad way to kick things off with the television title match, and it appears this is far from over.  Overall, a solid show, and the promos by EC3/The Southern Six feel like things are building to something down the road.

What that entails, remains to be seen, so see ya in seven!
