It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means?

No, you don’t get to be a dictator for a day. It’s AEW Dynamite and they are going hard into the Continental Classic, plus we’ll hear from Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho of The Golden Jets and The Von Erichs are in the building.

But first a quick…

(Author’s Rant:  I wanted to be detailed in what happened on this show.  I really did.  But certain entitled people at my regular job prevented that from happening.  Therefore, this will be an abbreviated recap, so excuse the lack of detail.)

We join you from the College Park Center in Arlington, TX. Excalibur, Taz, and Tonya Schiavone have the call, and Samoa Joe strolls out to start things off, and he wants answers. He promised MJF to keep him whole so he can beat him for the AEW championship at The World’s End PPV. But last week he saw the Devil and his handiwork, and the beer bottle smells of Stetson and disappointment, and apparently a certain Hangman was missing.

Cue Adam Page and he walks to the ring to confront Joe’s accusations and wants him to say it to his face. He says he’s not a detective, but an executioner.

Then…

“SOMOAAAAA….Joe.” Roderick Strong comes down the ramp and tells him to listen to his “young boy” Page. He gives facts that anyone who comes to MJF’s aid gets attacked. It’s always Max, but Page punches him in the neck (that dastard!). So now the first match is….

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Roderick Strong (with Matt Taven and Mike Bennett)

To keep it brief, Strong and Page go back and forth, and The Kingdom interferes at every opportunity.  At one point, Taven tries to interfere and Page fends off The Kingdom with a moonsault to the floor to wipe them out.  The Buckshot lariat gets blocked and Page attempts an inside cradle for a two count.  However, the Dead Eye finds the target and Page claims the win.

Your Winner via Pinfall:  “Hangman” Adam Page

Next is Blue League action between…

Brody King vs. Andrade El Idolo

This is brute force versus lucha tranquilo.  El Idolo uses his high flying to counter King’s brute force, and at one point he climbs up top but King catches him. They battle up top but El Idolo nails King with a hammerlock DDT on the exposed turnbuckle and a second one puts him down for good.

Your Winner via Pinfall:  Andrade El Idolo

Idolo earns three points for a total of nine in the Blue League.
