Greetings and salutations! It is time for Victory Road. It has been a quick turn around since the Emergence show in Toronto. As we inch closer and closer to Impact 1000, this show will set the stage for that. Tons on the go tonight, so without further ado, let’s get to it.


Pre-Show


We kick things off with Alan Angels open challenge…..


Alan Angels VS Guido Maritato (Nunzio/Little Guido)


That is right, Guido Maritato answered the call! I would have never made that guess. Angels wins with Angels Wings in a quick and fun match. Maritato looked half decent.

ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) VS Moose & Brian Myers


Another fun match fit for the pre-show that saw ABC picking up the win after Ace holds Moose down and Bey rolls up Myers in a cheecky way.

Main Show


The show starts with a video package highlighting the stars of Impact Wrestling and the matches to Victory Road.


X-Division Title: Lio Rush (c) vs. KUSHIDA 


Rush starts the match by leaving the ring to keep it at his pace. Once both men were back in the ring, Kushida tried to get Rush in a Hoverboard lock early in the match, but Rush was able to avoid it a few times until KUSHIDA gets it on the ropes. KUSHIDA keeps Rush in the ring and focuses his attack on Rush’s arm for the inevitable Hoverboard Lock.

Rush continues to avoid anything KUSHIDA brings his way. Rush once again goes to the outside of the ring but KUSHIDA follows him and applies the Hoverboard Lock on the outside of the ring. KUSHIDA sends Rush back into the ring. Rush once again avoids the Lock , and as both men right, KUSHIDA hits a Spanish Fly, then follows that up with a Hoverboard Lock yet again. Rush breaks it up and the two men trade punches, until Rush decides to throw KUSHIDA’s arm to the ref for a distraction, then low blows KUSHIDA. Rush takes this opportunity and hits the Final Hour Frog Splash for the win.

We see a clip that was recorded earlier today where Bully Ray ran PCO over with a car. Sanitno Marella, trainers, and medical personnel are taking PCO on a stretcher and he RISES!


Knockouts Tag Team Title: MK ULTRA (Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly)(c) VS GISELE SHAW & SAVANNAH EVANS (w/Jai Vidal)


MK Ultra held the momentum in the match until Jai Vidal inserted themselves in the match by grabbing the rope down, causing Kelly to fall hard outside of the ring. Shaw and Evans eventually get Kelly back in the ring and cut the ring in half by putting the boots to Kelly. Kelly finds an out and gets the hot tag to Slamovich who ends up cleaning house. Slamovich is held by Shaw and Evans goes for a Big Boot but winds up booting Shaw hard. Vidal is up on the apron, but Kelly brings them down. In all of this distractin, Evans boots Slamovich for a nearfall, but as soon as they are up again Slamovich kciks Evans hard and hits a Snow Plow to end the match.

We go to the back where PCO is hunting Bully Ray down. Ray ends up attacking PCO with a chair and douses him in lighter fluid. Ray screams that we are seeing the last of Cark Outlette and PCO. Ray lights a flame, but PCO spits lighter fluid on Ray’s face causing him to run off.

We see a video highlighting the new Crazzy Steve character along wish his feud with Black Taurus.


BLACK TAURUS VS CRAZZY STEVE


As the match starts, the fight turns into a brawl and both men fight all over the place. Taurus ends up getting the brief momentum but Steve knocks him down at ringside. Steve takes yells at Hannifan that we are seeing the start of something beautiful. Taurus is back in the ring and Steve meets him there slapping him around. Steve reminds us that he promised to take Taurus’ eye out.

Steve knocks Taurus hard with a slam for a 2-count. Taurus is back up and and hits Steve with a Samoan Drop, followed by a Back Breaker. As Taurus continues to lay a beating on Steve, Steve gets to his knees and begs to Taurus telling him that he’s sorry. Taurus briefly stops to listen, which opens the door to Steve attack Taurus and get shim down. Steve gets a fork he hid under the announce table  and goes for Taurus’ eyes, btu Taurus stops him  and the ref gets the fork out of the ring. Steve gouges the eyes of Taurus and hits a DDT hanging from the ropes for the win.

Winner: Crazy Steve


Gia Miller is joined by Tommy Dreamer who has put his career on the line. Dreamer said that this is the building where he first fell in love with wrestling and says that if this is his last match, then hes happy, but if its not, this is just a new chapter to his career.

We see a recap of the build to Tommy Dreamer VS Kenny King Digital Media Championship match.


Digital Media Title: KENNY KING (c)(w/Sheldon Jean) vs. TOMMY DREAMER


Dreamer is getting a heroes welcome with his family at ringside. Dreamer started the match off quickly sending King over the rope with a Clothesline. We get an “ECW” chant after this. Dreamer follows King outside and drinks some water, only to spit it in the face of King. Dreamer sets himself up and goes for a dive, but King kicks him through the ropes before he could jump. King goes to the top rope, but Dreamer meets him up there and slams him form the top for a nearfall.

The two men continue to fight around the arena and end up at the entrance ramp. King Suplexes Dreamer on the ramp. King with a hard kick to Dreamer sending him back off the ramp. King dives onto Dreamer. King punches Dreamer and mocks Dreamers family at ringside. King sends Dreamer back to the ring. Dreamer tries to fight back and eventually does with a Superplex on King. King comes back with a Spinebuster on Dreamer for a 2-count. King stomps the mat in prep for a Sweet Chin Music like HBK did for Flair but says “I Hate You” and misses with the kick. Dreamer with a cutter for a 2-count.

King comes right back with a Blockbuster for a 2-count of his own. Dreamer and King share pins back and forth. Dreamer gets the upperhand with a Death Valley Driver, followed by a Piledriver for a close 2.9-count. Dreamer motions for a Funk Moonsault. Dreamer is at the top, and Sheldon Jean shakes the ropes, causing Dreamer to fall. The ref argues with Jean as he does a soft ejection. During this distraction, Heath runs out from the crowd and does a Wake up Call to King. Dreamer with a DDT and picks up the win!

Winners: AND NEW Digital Media Champion; Tommy Dreamer

After the match, Heath lifts Dreamer’s hand in victory


We get a video package showing the return of Jordynne Grace and her history with Deonna Purrazzo


JORDYNNE GRACE vs. DEONNA PURRAZZO


Grace is back and she goes toe-to-toe with Purrazzo. Grace with the advantage as the match goes to ringside. Purrazzo pushes Grace to the ringpost arm first. Purrazzo attacks Grace’s arm and sends her back to the ring. Purrazzo is trying to focus her attack on the arm of Grace to set her up for the Fujiwara Armbar. Grace’s arm is tired but she still manages to slam Purrazzo with one working arm, followed by a cltohesline. Purrazzo finds an Armbar, but Grace escapes and punches Purrazzo, then does a Superplex on Purrazzo, and ends this stretch of offense off with a Jackhammer for a 2-count.

Purrazzo came back to the match as she hit a Piledriver for a 2-count of her own. With both women up, they trade punches and end up hitting each other with a double Clothesline. Both women are up and Grace hits a Powerbomb on Purrazzo, but Purrazzo comes back with a German Suplex. Grace slams Purrazzo on her head for another 2-count. Grace is looking for a Muscle Buster, but Purrazzo escapes and locks in an Armbar. Grace fights back and lands some punches before she got the Juggernaut Driver for the win!

Anything Goes match: PCO vs. BULLY RAY


The ring is surrounded by ladders, and tables. Before the match started, Ray tried to leave ringside but Santino comes out to stop him. PCO blindsided Ray as he argued with Santino and the two men take the fight to the back. The fight spills back onto the entrance ramp, and the two men fight back and forth as they walk down the ramp. Ray hits PCO with a trash can then slams him to a couple of chairs back in the ring. The match finally starts as the bell sounds.

Bully takes the battle to PCO as he slams him through 4 tables, but PCO just constantly rises up. Ray once again tries to leave the mach, but Santino and security stop him again. Ray slaps Santino, this gets Santino to attack Ray with a Cobra. PCO makes his way to Ray and Suplexes him on a ladder, then lands an elbow. PCO with a chokeslam on Ray through a table, then grabs a Cheese Grater and uses it all over Ray’s body. PCO with a Re-Animoator and slams Ray through yet another table. PCO sets up a table in the corner, and sends Ray through it then picks up the 3-count and the win.

Winner: PCO


Gia Miller is with Eric Young and Scott D’Amore. They hype Impact 1000 as some TNA originals.


Tag Team Title match: THE RASCALZ (c)(Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) VS THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) 


MCMG have the early advantagbut Rascalz hit a double thrust Kick. MCMG end up isolating Wentz and separate him from Miguel. Miguel comes in un-tagged but Shelley and Sabin get Miguel and Wentz down and lock in Figure-Fours on them. Shelley and Trey are left in the ring as the legal men. Miguel knocks Shelley down and does a Moonsault on him. Rascalz attack Sabin to keep him away from his partner. Shelley with a clothesline on Miguel. Sabin in and Legwhips Wentz and Miguel. The Rascalz both leave the ring for a breather, but Sabin does a tope Suicida on both Rascalz. Sabin ends up getting knocked around and double teamed by The Rascalz. Miguel grabs one tag title and brings it to the ring, but the ref is on him. While this is happening, Wentz hits Sabin with the second title belt for a 2-count.

Wentz grabs the spray can on the apron, but Shelley trips him up sending him off the apron. Miguel dives and lands on everyone on the outside. Moments later, back in the ring, Sabin hits a DDT to Miguel ON a title belt and goes for the pin and MCMG are about to win until John Skylar pulls the ref out before counting for 3. Wentz sprays the eyes of Sabin and Miguel goes for the pin and win.

Winners: AND STILL Tag Team Champions; The Rascalz


Knockouts Title match: TRINITY (c) VS ALISHA EDWARDS (w/Eddie Edwards) 


Before the match, The Edwards mock the crowd. The crowd throws Glowsticks in the ring. Trinity starts things off with a few attacks with Alisha in the corner. Trinity with the Splits on Alisha. Alisha with a breather on the outside of the ring, but Trinity follows her and kicks her in the head. Back in the ring, Alisha sends Trinity to the corner and hits a Neckbreaker. Alisha with a Drop Toehold sending Trinity to the corner, followed by a Crossbody Block. Alisha locks Trinity in a BodyScissor.

Trinity starts mounting a comeback and finishes it off with a Backstabber for a 2-count. Trinity goes for a kick, but misses Alisha and hits the ref. Trinity then locks Alisha in a Starstruck, but there is no ref to be seen. Eddie comes in the ring and sets up a table at ringside. He grabs Trinity and is about to put her through the table but Frankie Kazarian and the always amazing Traci Brooks are out to make the save. Eddie is placed on the table and Trinity climbs the top rope and slams Eddie through the table.

Trinity heads back in the ring, but Alisha is waiting for her with a Kendo Stick and hits her in the head. The ref is back in and counts to 2! Trinity is back up and kicks Alisha again, wraps her legs arouns Alisha and gets a pin for the win.

Winner: AND STILL Knockouts Champion; Trinity


Mike Tenay and Don West are announced to be the next inductees to the Impact Hall of Fame. The ceremony will happen at Bound for Glory.


JOSH ALEXANDER VS STEVE MACLIN


The match starts with Alexander armdragging Maclin. Both men chop the heck out of each other until Maclin chops Alexander OVER the top rope, sending him to the apron. Maclin and Alexander fight on the apron until Alexander suplexes Maclin on the hardest part of the ring. Maclin comes right back and stretches Alexander’s repaired arm over the rope, then slams him towards the post.

Maclin maintains momentum until Alexander is able to hit a series of German Suplexes on him. Maclin comes right back and locks an Armbar on Alexander. Alexander takes a break at ringside, and Maclin dives on Alexander. Back in the ring, Maclin stomps on Alexander a few times. Maclin, now looking to end the match hits an Olympic Slam on Alexander, then locks another Armlock on Alexander. Alexander mounts his comeback as he hits a Belly-to-Back Suplex. Both men trade punches, but Maclin falls and Alexander hits a Crossbody Block on Maclin.

Maclin comes right back and gets Alexander down on the mat. Alexander responds with a Backbreaker, the locks in an Ankle Lock that gets broken up. Both men are up and once again trade punches, which ends with Maclin in an Ankle Lock. Maclin is out again, and Alexander heads to the top rope, but Maclin pushes him off. Maclin with the momentum now hits Crosshairs and KIA, but as Maclin tries to go for the pin, Alexander rolls to the outside. Maclin dives onto Alexander, but Alexander catches and tosses him to the floor. Maclin got up slowly, and hits a Chop Block on Alexander. Both men are on dream street as the ref is counting to 10. Maclin and Alexander beat the count, they trade chops, punches, and kicks. Maclin with two Suplexes on Alexander. Maclin climbs to the top but misses a splash, then Alexander hits a C-$ Spike for the win.
