First CM Punk was released by AEW and now his friend producer Ace Steel has been let go as well, this according to PWInsider.com.
Steel was involved in the now infamous backstage brawl involving CM Punk and members of The Elite. He fired by the company for his involvement but was later reinstated.
Steel, a former wrestler, worked for NXT as a coach and a producer before heading over to AEW and assuming the same roles.
Steel worked remotely as a producer on Collision, a show created for those like Steel and Punk who had issues with The Elite and their associates like ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry.
Steel appeared sporadically with CM Punk on AEW television during his time with the company.
