Brian Pillman Jr. has joined a long list of AEW originals who have left the company.

Like the others, AEW allowed Pillman’s contract to lapse. Pillman’s bio has also been removed from the official AEW site.

Up until recently, Pillman made high-profile appearances beginning with being a part of the first ever AEW event Double or Nothing in 2019. He was in the battle royal. Pillman’s status rose as he began teaming with Griff Garrison as part of the Varsity Blonds with Julia Hart joining them later as their manager.

His last match for the company was at an AEW House Rules show on May 13th of this year. He and Brock Anderson lost to The Gunns. His last televised match was an episode of AEW Dark in March during which Pillman and Anderson beat Cezar Bononi and Ryan Nemeth.
