NJPW World Tag League is wrapping up and today was the final day of A Block action. The two teams advancing to the semi-finals were up against each other in today’s main event. The Bullet Club War Dogs, Gabe Kidd and Alex Coughlin finish in first place after defeating TMDK, Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls, who will also advance as the two-seed.

The War Dogs made their entrance by dragging Kosei Fujita of TMDK out, Coughlin hit him with a Jackhammer and Kidd demanded that Haste and Nicholls come out. TMDK rushed out and the brawl was now on between all four men. Haste and Nicholls threw both Coughlin and Kidd into the steel barricades and Nicholls then dove from the top rope with a moonsault.

The fight now spilled into the crowd, where people were being thrown into the wooden walls and chairs were being thrown. Nicholls was choking Kidd with the barricade and Haste was choking Coughlin with a chair. The War Dogs began to come back when Coughlin dropped Nicholls spine-first on the ramp, but when the match finally got in the ring it almost ended very quickly. Kidd ran into the ring only to be caught in a Tankbuster from TMDK and Coughlin had to break up the pin at two.

Nicholls delivered a Death Valley Driver to Coughlin, but Coughlin came right back hitting him with a German suplex. Haste then gave Coughlin a side suplex before Kidd dropped Haste with a spike piledriver. All four men were down and as they rose Kidd and Haste began trading strikes and chops, but after some uppercuts, Haste gave Kidd a falcon’s arrow. Haste then turned Kidd inside-out with a lariat, but the Dynamic Bomb was reversed when Kidd bit Haste’s face.

Kidd then dropped Haste on his head with a side-suplex and tagged in Coughlin who delivered two gutwrench suplexes to Haste. He followed that with a reverse bodyslam, a massive clothesline and a fall-away slam. Coughlin then wanted a superplex, but Haste slid out, hit a dropkick and tagged in Nicholls. Coughlin was no match for Nicholls’ quick strikes and he then landed a stalling suplex followed by a sliding clothesline. However, Nicholls ended up running into a pop-up powerbomb from Coughlin and Kidd was now back in to deliver a number of strikes to Nicholls.

The War Dogs then worked together to hit a lariat-German suplex combination on Nicholls and they followed that with a double fisherman buster. A Doomsday Device was next on their mind, but Nicholls slipped off Coughlin’s shoulders and threw him into Kidd. Haste now hit Coughlin with a brutal kick to the head and Nicholls elevated Haste up to superplex Kidd to the mat. They then delivered a Highway to Hell to Kidd and went for a Super Tankbuster, but Coughlin caused a distraction by trying to come into the ring with a chair.

That distraction allowed Kidd to rake Nicholls’ eyes, throw him into Haste, low blow Nicholls and drop him with a piledriver. Coughlin now military pressed Haste over his head and sent him crashing to the floor. This allowed the War Dogs to hit Nicholls with a Hijack Piledriver and seal their victory!
