Wardlow vs. AR Fox


Fox dives onto Wardlow during his entrance but Wardlow controls Fox and throws him arund the ring a few times. Wardlow is down after a flurry of offense and Fox hits the 450 Splash for a 1-count. Wardlow is up and hits Fox with a Lariat and then Powerbombs twice, followed by a Swanton Bomb. Wardlow isn’t done as he hits one last Powerbomb. The referee calls for the bell.

Dante Martin, Darius Martin & Action Andretti vs. The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) & Brother Zay


The broadcast team talks up Dante Martin, who has been out of action since March after a bad injury at the ROH PPV. The Hardys and Zay get the upperhand early. Andretti and Jeff Hardy go at it for a short amount of time until Darius and Zay tag in and go back and forth with their fast paced moves. Top Flight and Andretti look to have control of the match but Zay sends Andretti back into the corner. Jeff Hardy takes Andretti down as Zay stomps on him. The Hardys and Zay isolate Andretti from his team. Matt with a Side Effect. Dante Martin gets the hot tag and clears house until Zay pushes Dante into Darius and hits a Clothesline on Dante. Jeff and Matt double-team Dante and they put Dante on their shoulders. Zay hits a springboard dropkick. Quickly then, Darius drops Jeff with a forearm as Zay and Martin fight in the ring. Dante gets the win over Zay in a very crowded end to the match

Top Flight and Action Andretti are talking backstage with Renne Paquette until Penta shows up. El Hijo del Vikingo and Komander appear and a trios match is booked for another day.


TBS Championship: Julia Hart (c) vs. Emi Sakura


This is House rules and the win cannot come via submission. Hart does a Cartwheel early on. Sakura comes right back with a chop and a Crossbody. They battle at ringside for a bit and Sakura gains control while sending Hart back to the ring. Sakura punds and ground Hart for a bit. Sakura with a Back-breaker. Hart slowly comes back and is able to lock in a Sleeper Hold. She then gets a Headscissors on sakura followed by a Hartless but this won’t work because of House Rules. Hart stomps on Sakura a bit, climbs the ropes and hits a Moonsault for the win.

RJ is with Mariah May. May says she’s dying to show everyone what she can do. She thanks RJ City for connecting her with Toni Storm and then walks into Tony Khan’s office.


Christian talks to Copeland….


Christian Cage has security with him. Cage calls out Adam Copeland but no one comes out. Copeland asks again and eventually Copeland comes out. Cage is behind the security guards. Christian asks the security guards to leave. Cage then tells Copeland he’s sorry and says he went soul-searching and is trying to figure out how he became the person he is today. Cage tells us some of the memories that he Copeland shared through their lives. Cage said they worked hard and made it. Cage then talks about their friendship and says they’re brothers. Cage tells Copeland he loves him. Cage then talks about Copeland’s mom passing away. Cage says she would have wanted them to team up one more team. Cage says they should team up together because that’s what Copeland’s mom wanted. Cage then goes for a cheap shot, but Copeland kicks him int he balls. Copeland tells Cage that the TNT Championship is coming home with him and tells him to go “f*ck himself.”


AEW Continental Classic: Swerve Strickland vs. Jay White


The match starts and ends up at ringside early on. Swerve with the advantage until White throws him to the barricade. White tosses Strickland back in the ring and takes control of the match. Eventually and not much later,  they end up back outside of the ring where Strickland has his way with White until White chops him. Strickland with a chop of his own and follows that up with a Backbreaker on White. White is coming back and tosses Strickland on the apron then hits a Suplex. White throws Strickland into the corner but Strickland swerves (had to) a chop and hits a  Hammerlock slam on White.

White and Strickland go back and forth until Strickland hits a Flatliner on White. Strickland with a Vertical Suplex, but it was only good or a 2-count. Swerve with a Discus Lariat and both men are down and out. White slowly gets up first and send Strickland hard on the mat. White then targets the Elbow of Strickland. Strickland comes right back and snaps White’s arm. White goes for a low blow, and Swerve counters with a Back-breaker of his own. Strickland hits the House Call and the Swerve Stomp for a 2-count. White is up and hits a Bladerunner, but cannot get the pin as Strickland rolls to the outside. White is mad and gets Strickland from the outside and tosses him back in the ring. They trade pins and White goes for a Bladerunner again, but Strickland swerves it (HA!) and both men trade hard punches. White gets control and hits Strickland with a Sleeper Suplex. White looks for yet another Bladerunner but Strickland counters and gets a s stack pin for the 1…2…3…and the win!

Winner: Swerve Strickland

After the match, Swerve Strickland celebrates to end the show.
