Due to technical issues, this will be an abbreviated recap of the matches in the National Wrestling Alliance heading into NWA 75.  Some of the matches tonight have the benefit of being added onto the upcoming PPV Card, but this show features the debut of Vampiro who will fight alongside La Rebelion as they face Mario Pardua and The Brothers of Funstruction in the main event.

As always, this match comes to you from StudioOne in Highland Park, Il.  Joe Galli and Tim Storm have the call as the First Match of the night is a…

Last Chance Match: Missa Kate (with Madi) vs. Ella Envy (with Roxy)

Basically, after Envy pled her case to get another shot at the NWA Women’s tag team titles, the “front office of the NWA” came up with this concept adding the stipulation that if she loses, Pretty Empowered cannot challenge for the belts ever again.  Envy is her usual obnoxious self as she faces Kate, and the hometown favorite gets the “Greco-Roman noogie” according to Galli.  Despite all her efforts to cheat, Kate stays on offense and looks poised to deliver the final blow until Roxy gets on the apron to distract her.  As the ref restores order during the confusion, Envy rolls her up with a  handful of tights to get the pin.

Your Winner via Pinfall:  Ella Envy

“The Thoroughbred” Anthony Andrews vs “The Barker” Cody James (with CJ)

This is a tune-up singles match to highlight Part of the upcoming US Tag Title showdown match at NWA 75.  Both are a couple of heavy-hitting hosses, and Andrews is tossing James around all over the ring.  At one point, James pulls up lame and rolls out, and as Andrews looks on, CJ gets on the ring and nails him with an Ace Crusher on the top rope.

Ta-da!

Back in after a “magical recovery” the member of Magic, Inc. takes the fight to The Country Gentlemen.  CJ once again tries to interfere but gets caught by the ref and is ejected from ringside.  Andrews returns the receipt with Dead to Rights and a bodyslam for the three count.

Your Winner via Pinfall:  Anthony Andrews

The SVGS (Jax Dane and Blake “Bulletproof” Troop, with Chris Silvio, Esq.) vs. Magnum Muscle (Dak Draper and Big Strong Mims)

Right away, the SVGS jumps Magnum Muscle, as Mims tumbles out dealing with his recent leg injury, but Troop is still working through his bruised ribs.  Injuries on both sides played into the match, as Mims suffers the worst at the hands of the “Megalo-Dane.”  Mims makes the hot tag to Draper and he cleans house of those filthy SVGS.  He tries to bring back Mims early for a double-team move but his leg injury causes him to collapse under his weight.  As Draper and Dane battle outside the ring, Mims fights on and delivers a German suplex to Troop with a bridge for the victory.

After the match and during the break, Dane badmouths Storm again at commentary and calls him a coward. Storm is seething as Galli asks his broadcast partner’s mindset, and he announces he will face his old rival Dane at NWA 75.

Zyon (with Austin Idol) vs. Odinson

The masked man picks apart the Asgardian as Idol sits by at ringside with a front-row seat to the beatdown.  But Odinson is still too powerful and attacks with his patented Asgardian uppercuts and he delivers the Asgardian Pounce that sends Zyon flying halfway across the ring.  He covers but Zyon has his foot on the rope to break the count.  As Odinson goes to seek his Purpose, Idol takes the metallic spray can away from him.  That’s enough time for Zyon to sneak in behind with a chair and he slams it across Odinson’s back.  The ref sees this and calls the match.

Your Winner via Disqualification:  Odinson

Zyon continues to destroy him after the bell with malice aforethought and shows no signs of mercy.

We get a video package of Tyrus and EC3 leading into the Bullrope Match at NWA 75, and how it’s not just the Ten Pounds of Gold on the line, but Tyrus’ career.

That leads to the Main Event, and it is a…

Six-Man Tag Team Match: La Rebelion (Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf, with Vampiro) vs. Mario Pardua and The Brothers of Funstruction (Yabbo and Ruffo the Clown)

Vampiro and Pardua begin at the start of the bell, and he gets love from the crowd with chants of “Pol-ish Power!”  That ends when chops from Vampiro send him to tag Yabbo.  At that point, there is no clowning around with Vampiro and La Rebelion as they lay him out and keep the Clown in Peril.  Yabbo and Ruffo created a small comeback, and soon Pardua joins the clown show with a red nose of his own to show brotherhood.  The yuks are short-lived as La Rebelion pulls out Yabbo and Ruffo, and then Vampiro ends it with the Nail in the Coffin and gets the decisive one, two, and three.

Your Winners via Pinfall: La Rebelion and Vampiro
