With WrestleMania just 10 days away there is word that the match between Bray Wyatt and Bobby Lashley has been dropped from the card.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reports that it seems Wyatt will no longer take part in the Showcase of the Immortals and that his match with Lashley is off too.

Behind the scenes WWE’s official explanation is that Wyatt is dealing with an undisclosed health issue.

It is not known if Lashley will be worked into WrestleMania at such a late date but speculation has it he could be part of the Brock Lesnar versus Omos match. Other opponents being tossed about are Damien Priest or perhaps even Bronson Reed.

Bray Wyatt has not been on WWE television or at live events for quite some time. On the Road to WrestleMania tour which began months ago Wyatt was supposed to battle LA Knight in a series of street fight matches but Wyatt was replaced on most or all of them. During the Toronto stop on March 5th Kevin Owens subbed for Wyatt.

Reports have indicated that there could be more to the story in that Wyatt and WWE could be at odds over Wyatt’s push and current storyline. It is being said that Brock Lesnar balked at a WrestleMania match against Wyatt opting to face Omos instead.

Adding another piece to the bizarre puzzle has Brian Cage throwing his hat into the ring:

After a lengthy run Wyatt was released from WWE in 2021 when Vince McMahon was in charge of creative. Wyatt was hired back when Triple H took over in 2022.
