El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru are your Super Jr. Tag League 2021 winners. They defeated Bullet Club’s Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo, the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions to claim the title.

At the final event today, Phantasmo clocked Desperado with his Sudden Death kick. Red Shoes informed Phantasmo and Ishimori that Desperado wasn’t the legal man, Kanemaru is. While Phantasmo argued with the official, Kanemaru pushed Ishimori into Phantasmo, punched Ishimori in the “lower abdomen” and rolled him up for the pin Yano style.

Kanemaru had to celebrate alone for some time as the trophies were handed out because Desperado was still in Dreamland from the Sudden Death kick. An angry Phantasmo kicked a Young Lion in the “lower abdomen” with Sudden Death as he and Ishimori headed to the back disappointed.

The Great-O-Khan versus Tomoaki Honma

Khan, naturally, makes short work of Honma.

Bullet Club (Chase Owens and Jado) versus Toru Yano and Togi Makabe

Yano wants Owens to speak up. Courtesy: NJPW.

Owens brings his strap to the ring. The Young Lions give him a wide berth as he makes his way there. Things break down immediately but the official still rings the bell. Yano chokes Owens and shoves a microphone in his face as he does so. They pull their turnbuckle pad joke, playing hot potato with them, which is getting a little stale now. Jado tries the old ‘shove your foe into the official’ routine. Yano switches things up, mule-kicks Jado in the “lower abdomen” and pins him. Owens snaps and attacks Yano from behind whipping him over and over. “Yano! I am the King of Pro-Wrestling, not you!” he says.

Winners: Chaos (Toru Yano and Togi Makabe)

Suzuki-Gun (Douki, Minoru Suzuki, Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr.) versus Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Yoshi-Hashi, Hirooki Goto and Satoshi Kojima

Tiger Mask has Ishimori beat. Phantasmo hits Tiger Mask with Sudden Death. Eagle makes the save on the pinfall. Ishimori puts Tiger Mask in the Yes Lock and because Mask is already unconscious from Sudden Death, the official calls it.

Winners: Bullet Club (Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo)

Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado versus Sho and Yoh – Super Jr. Tag League 2021

Sho puts an end to his partnership with Yoh. Courtesy: NJPW.

Sick of Yoh and his trick knee losing every match for them, Sho refuses to save Yoh from Desperado’s Numero Dos submission. Kanemaru and Desperado are ready for Sho to jump in. He doesn’t. He waves them to just continue thrashing Yoh. Eventually, Desperado shows some mercy and pins Yoh. Yoh picks up Sho and gives him a Shock Arrow and putting an end to Roppongi 3K.

Winners: Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado
