Survivor Series is a Thanksgiving week tradition and this year the Staples Center in Los Angeles played host. With the brand split, it’s now tradition to bill the entire show as Monday Night RAW versus Smackdown Live. Which means none of the matches have any real stakes and feuds are mostly put on hold in the interest of brand loyalty. The only title being defended tonight was the Cruiserweight Title, but there were some never before seen match ups.

In the main event, newly crowned WWE Champion Daniel Bryan took on the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar from RAW. Nothing was at stake in the match, as RAW had built a five to nothing lead during the night. Daniel Bryan taunted Lesnar before the match as the Beast made his way around the ring. During the pre-match introductions, Paul Heyman took the microphone from JoJo to announce his client.

At the sound of the bell, Bryan went after Lensar’s knee. The WWE champ escaped the ring and took a lap around the ring. Bryan slid back into the ring when Lesnar gave chase. He continued to mock Lesnar. Lesnar caught the first kick from Bryan and took him down with one strike. Lesnar tossed Bryan with a release German suplex. Lesnar drug Bryan back to the middle of the ring and delivered another suplex. Heyman had a look of shock on his face as Lesnar tossed Bryan across the ring.

The RAW champ tossed Bryan around with two more suplexes, before kicking him out of the ring. On the floor, Lesnar kept up the assault, slamming Bryan into the barrier multiple times. Lesnar locked in a bear hug and taunted Bryan. A sixth suplex nearly broke Bryan in half. The Beast showed no mercy, hitting Bryan with a seventh suplex that left the WWE champion in a daze. It looked like Lesnar would finish Bryan off with an F-5, but on the pin, Brock picked Bryan’s shoulders off the mat.

It may have been a mistake. Bryan landed a multiple kicks to the Lesnar’s head. Brock went for another F-5, but Bryan spun off his shoulder; accidently hitting the ref. With the ref down, Bryan connected with a low blow kick and nearly got a pin with a running knee. Bryan came to life. He delivered the YES! kicks and then stomped on Lesnar’s face. The flurry of offense stunned the Universal Champ.

Bryan sent Brock to the floor. Lesnar caught Bryan in mid-air, but the WWE champ was able to slip out and shove Brock into the ring post. Bryan hit a flying knee, but got caught on a suicide dive. Lesnar drove Bryan into the ring post twice, before grabbing the ring steps. Bryan was able to avoid the hit and then took Brock down with a running knee off the apron.

Bryan waited for Lesnar to enter to the ring. He delivered another running knee, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Beast down. Bryan took Brock down with a chop block and then whipped his leg around the ring post. Bryan connected with missile drop kick, sending Brock into the corner. Bryan took the fight to Lesnar with a running drop kick. Lesnar blocked the kick, only to get trapped in the YES! lock in the middle of the ring. Lesnar broke the hold. Bryan to locked it in again. Lesnar powered out and was able to hit an F-5. Lesnar covered and got the win.

The next WWE pay-per-view is TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs on December 16th in San Jose, California.

Survivor Series Pre-Show

Team Smackdown: The Usos, the New Day, Anderson and Gallows, Sanity and the Colons vs. Team RAW: Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, the Revival, Lucha House Party, the Ascension and The B Team – Tag Team Survivor Series Elimination Match

Despite tweaking his knee, Kalisto gets a near fall. Scott Dawson makes a blind tag. Dash Wilder comes in and they hit Primo with the Shatter Machine. Wilder covers to get the win.

Karl Anderson takes a DDT for Bo Dallas and is able to kick out. Anderson smashes Dallas into the corner and is able to roll him up for the elimination.

Killian Dane crushes Gable with a cross body. Eric Young tags in to hit a tandem neck breaker on Gable. Roode tags in, hits Young with a neck breaker as Gable connects with a splash. Young is eliminated.

Big E locks Konnor in an abdominal stretch and gives him a slap on the bottom. Woods tags in, only to get tossed across the ring. Viktor takes a rolling elbow from Woods. Big E tags in and is slammed on Viktor. E covers for the elimination.

Lince Dorado gets caught in the Magic Killer, but counters with a hurricanrana. Gallows counters a head scissors, only to get knocked into the ropes. Dorado and Gran Metalik use tandem moonsaults to take out Anderson and Gallows on the floor. Metalik rolls Anderson into the ring and hits a senton. He covers and gets the elimination.

Lince Dorado is all over Jimmy Uso, but he doesn’t see the tag to Jey, who plants him into the mat. Jey covers and get the elimination.

The Usos get knocked off the apron, so Woods returns the favor by taking out Roode and Gable. Wilder and Big # tag in, and E tosses him all over the ring with belly to belly suplexes. Dawson runs interference, but Wilder can’t get the pin. Gable tags in and Big E runs into a suplex. Gable with another suplex into a neck breaker from Roode, but Big E kicks out. E counters the Glorious DDT with an elbow. Big E spears Wilder off the apron. Gable then flies over the top rope to take out everyone. Roode looks to take off and doesn’t see Jey Uso, who lays him out with a super kick. Jey takes flight to take out everyone on the floor. Gable catches Jey on the top turnbuckle and sends him to the floor with a German suplex. Gable tags in, but Woods breaks free of Roode. Big E makes a blind tag and catches Gable coming off the top rope. Woods hits him with UpUpDownDown and Big E covers.

Dawson blasts Jey off the apron, only to take an enziguiri from Jimmy. Dawson superplex Jimmy and Wilder hits a splash. Jey makes the save. The Revival looks for another Shatter Machine, but Jey superkicks Wilder. Dawson eats a super kick and Jimmy goes up top. He hits the frog splash and covers.

Noami goes for quick pin and Tamina, who kicks out. Both team rush the ring and it’s brawl. Naomi knocks Nia Jax out of the ring with a springboard kick. Tamina nails Naomi with a super kick and covers to get the pin.

Carmella takes a dance break, until Nia hits the ring. Mandy Rose tags in and gets planted. Rose kicks out of the pin. Mickie James tags in and gets locked in a abdominal stretch. Asuka tags in, locking up with James. Asuka with a hip attack and locks in a submission. James counters into a pin but Asuka escapes. Bayley tags in and teams up with Sasha to beat Sonya Deville in the corner. James makes a blind tag, only to get flattened with a spear. Many Rose makes a blind tag and steal the pin on James.

A kick from Carmella sends Bayley to her knees. She follows with a DDT. Carmella mocks Sasha, then runs into the Bayley to belly suplex. Bayley covers and gets the elimination

Mandy Rose jumps in and takes the fight to Bayley. Rose runs into a back elbow as Sasha gets the tag. Mandy dodges the knee strike, but eats a backstabber. Sasha locks in the Banks statement and Rose taps out.

Asuka with a hip attack to Banks in the corner. Deville tags in and locks in a body scissors. Banks breaks free, tagging in Bayley, who hits a running knee. Bayley runs into a spinebuster. Nia Jax makes the save. Jax is run into the ring post and Asuka attacks her on the floor. Banks takes out Asuka, as Bayley suplexes Deville. Bayley and Deville crash through the ropes onto the floor. The fight and are unable to get back in the ring and are counted out.

Asuka with a drop kick to Banks and then blocks a back stabber. Asuka delivers a knee to the face and drops Banks with a German suplex. Nia pulls herself up to the apron and is sent to the floor with a hip attack. Asuka sends Banks to the floor, but Sasha is able to drop Asuka on the apron. Asuka rolls Banks into the ring and connects with a missile drop kick. Asuka unloads with strikes. Sasha rolls through the Asuka lock and delivers the double knees in the corner. Banks climbs the turnbuckle, but is shoved off by Nia Jax. Asuka applies the Asuka Lock and Banks taps.

Jax enters the ring, dropping a leg on Asuka. She hits another leg drop and follows with a Samoan drop. Jax covers and gets the pin.

The two men lock up with Nakamura forcing Rollins to the ropes. Nakamura breaks the hold with a some taunting. Nakamura with a snap mare, but Rollins avoids getting stomped out. Rollins taunts Nakamura and the US champ runs into a hip toss. Nakamura is sent to the floor, but catches Rollins coming through the ropes with a kick. Nakamura with a knee strike on the apron. He delivers bad vibrations in the corner. Nakamura drops a knee on Rollins’ head. Nakamura with a front face lock. He knees Rollins in the head. Nakamura runs into a boot in the corner and is tossed out of the ring. Rollins connects on a suicide dive, running back into the ring to hit two more. Rollins with a springboard clothesline. Nakamura kicks out of the pin. Shinsuke floats over and connects with a round house kick. Nakamura drives the double knees into the IC champ, but can’t get the pin. Nakamura with a back stabber, but then runs into a super kick. Nakamura barely kicks out. Nakamura rakes the eyes and kicks Rollins in the back of the neck. Nakamura counters a clothesline into a triangle. Rollins gets to his feet and tosses Shinsuke into the turnbuckle. Rollins runs into a boot, but counters with a forearm smash. Nakamura with a landslide and Rollins kicks out. Nakamura goes up top, but Rollins catches him with a superplex. He follows with a falcon arrow, but can’t get the pin. Nakamura hits a reverse exploder, but Rollins avoids the Kinshasa and hits a knee. Rollins goes up top and misses the frog splash. Nakamura hits the Kinshasa, but Rollins kicks out. Nakamura runs into a super kick, but misses the stomp. Rollins avoids another Kinshasa and hits the stomps. He falls onto Nakamura to get the pin.

Team RAW start to fight among themselves, when R-Truth runs into the locker room, telling them to get on the same page. They all yell at Truth that he isn’t even on their show.

Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Bar w/ Big Show vs. RAW Tag Team Champions Author of Pain w/Drake Maverick – Champion vs. Champion Match

Cesaro takes Akam for an early swing, but Rezar is able to break it up. AoP trap Cesaro in their corner, taking turns laying a beating on him. Cesaro attempts an uppercut to Akam, but gets slammed to the mat. Rezar with a knee to the face. Cesaro is beaten into the corner, again. Cesaro lands a series of uppercuts, but is then clotheslined to the mat. Cesaro connects with a springboard spinning elbow, allowing Sheamus to get the hot tag. Akam is knocked off the apron, as Sheamus knees Rezar. He takes a beating on the apron. Sheamus flies off the top turnbuckle with a flying clothesline. Drake Maverick runs interference, but it backfires. Cesaro runs in with an uppercut. Sheamus follows with a Brogue kick. He covers, but Maverick pulls Rezar’s foot onto the ropes.

Cesaro chases Maverick around the ring and into the Big Show, who lifts him up with one hand. Maverick literally wets himself. AoP takes advantage knocking Cesaro off the apron. The hit Sheamus with a tandem sit-out powerbomb and neck breaker. They cover to get the win.

The Miz has a great motivational speech, but instead differs to Shane McMahon. R-Truth is in the locker room and wants to join Smackdown. Shane tells him he is all ready on the roster. Truth tells Shane that RAW is a mess.

Buddy Murphy (champion) vs. Mustafa Ali (challenger) – WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match

Ali strikes with a forearm and then an elbow. Ali with a hurricanrana that sends Murphy to the floor. Ali flips over the ropes to take out Buddy. The champ kicks out of pin and rolls to the floor. Ali kicks him into the security barrier and climbs the ropes. Murphy shove Ali to the floor. Murphy with a back drop in the ring and covers. Ali kicks out and then catapults Murphy into the turnbuckle. A drop kick sends the champ to the mat. Ali looks for a roll through, but Murphy tosses him out of the ring. Murphy climbs the turnbuckle, but misses an axe handle. Ali with a super kick and a scorpion kick. A follows with a spike hurricanrana and cover. Murphy kicks out. Ali with a spinning heel kick and Murphy rolls to the apron. Ali hits a DDT, but still only gets a two count. Ali climbs the turnbuckle and is cut down by Murphy. Ali crashes to the floor, smacking the apron on the way down. Murphy drags Ali onto the announce table. Ali escapes and hits a Spanish Fly to the floor. Murphy catches Ali up top and power bombs him to the mat, but can’t get the pin. Murphy catches Ali in mid-air with a knee. He hits Murphy’s Law and covers to get the pin.

Strowman and McIntyre argue over who will start the match. Braun wins out. Until the bell rings; McIntyre tags himself in. Samoa Joe attacks him, locking in the Coquina Clutch. McIntyre fights out and hits the Claymore. He covers and gets the win.

Jeff Hardy takes a clothesline and Ziggler tags in. Shane tags in, taking it to Dolph, punching him into the corner. Ziggler hits a drop kick. Shane with an arm drag. Ziggler counters a DDT with a roll up, but only gets a two count. Ziggler with a Famouser, but only gets a two count. Shane catches a kick and hits a back elbow. Ziggler with a Zig Zag and Miz has to break up the pin. Miz tags in and the two trade moves until Ziggler connects with a drop kick. Strowman tags himself in, but McIntyre quickly makes a tag. Strowman and McIntyre fight each other and everyone spills into the ring. Team Smackdown beats on Strowman. Mysterio hits the 619 and Shane dumps Braun out of the ring. Shane clears on announce table setting Braun on it. Shane climbs the turnbuckle and drops a flying elbow through Strowman on the table. Back in the ring, McIntyre and Miz are legal in the ring. McIntyre with a head butt, but he refuses to tag in Balor. Miz looks for the Skull Crushing Finale. It gets blocked. Finn tags himself in and kicks McIntyre in the head. Balor drives Miz into the mat. Miz counters a sling blade, but Finn rolls through. He drop kicks Miz on the floor and hits Hardy with a sling blade. Miz is rolled into the ring and tags Mysterio. Balor drops him and chops away. Mysterio dumps Finn into the ropes with a head scissors, but Balor avoids the 619. Balor miss the Coup de Gras and is sent into the ropes. Rey hits the 619 and drops a dime. He covers and gets the pin.

McIntyre attacks Balor, allowing Ray to kick him into the ropes. Lashley tags in, tosses Mysterio around the ring. He hits a neck breaker and follows with a delayed vertical suplex. Rey counters with a DDT. Mysterio connects wiht an enziguiri. Ziggler makes a blind tag. Both men hit each other and go down. Hardy tags in. He takes care of McIntyre with a tornado DDT to the floor. Ziggler with a DDT to Hardy, but he kicks out. Hardy blocks a super kick and hits the Twist of Fate. Dolph gets his knees up to block the swanton bomb. Miz holds Dolph in the corner as Shane climbs the turnbuckle. He hits the coast to coast and covers to get the pin

Miz knocks Lashley into the corner. He wants Shane to finish him off. Shane springboards off the ropes and is swatted out of mid-air by Braun Strowman. Hardy tags in to save Shane and is eliminated by Braun.

After the bell, Baron Corbin attacks Strowman from behind and runs out of the ring.

Seth Rollins tells Charly Caruso that he feels lucky that he beat Shinsuke Nakamura. Charly then tells him that he will be taking on Dean Ambrose at TLC. Rollins says at TLC Ambrose can’t hide anymore.

Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair

Rouser ducks a kick for Flair, while missing with a haymaker. Flair shoves Rousey across the ring. Flair powers out of an arm bar attempt. Rousey counters a figure four. A sunset flip get Flair a one count. Flair takes Rousey down with a side head lock. Rousey is smashed into the bottom turnbuckle and then thrown across the ring. Flair goes to work on the leg of Rousey. Flair hits the mat after a kick to the head. Flair knocks Rousey off the top turnbuckle, but can’t pull off the superplex. Rousey rolls off the top rope into an arm bar. Rousey moves to a triangle, but Flair counters into a Boston Crab. Rousey blocks the figure four and then counters Natural Selection. Charlotte rolls through and hits a back breaker. Flair looks for the moonsault, but Rousey blocks it. Flair hits a spear for a two count. Charlotte locks in the figure four. Rousey reverse the hold and the two roll to the floor. Rousey tosses Charlotte into the security barrier before rolling her back into the ring. She throws Flair around the ring. Flair responds with chops. Rousey blocks a chop but can’t block the big boot. Rousey hits the Piper’s Pit and goes for the arm bar. Flair fights her off, getting to the ropes. Rousey goes after Flair on the floor, where Charlotte nails her with a kendo stick. The ref calls for the bell.

Winner via disqualification: Ronda Rousey

Match Rating: 6/10

Flair slams Rousey into the ring steps and rolls her back into the ring. She beats Rousey until the Kendo stick splinters. Flair gets a chair but the ref is able to disarm her. Flair slips back into the ring and hits Natural Selection onto the chair. WWE officials finally hits the ring to get Flair to back off. Charlotte attacks the refs. She places the chair around Rousey’s throat before stomping on it. More WWE officials hits the ring and finally are able to get Flair out of the ring.
