In what Zombie Sailor’s Toys is calling, “The most unprecedented announcement in wrestling figure history,” CM Punk has joined the Wrestling’s Heels and Faces line of wrestling action figures.
The addition of Punk to this line of wrestling figures is huge news because Zombie Sailor is known as an independent toy maker, with no official ties to any major wrestling company, known for working with individual wrestlers and estates. For example, in previous news, Zombie Sailor announced pre-orders for a Nick Gage and Matt Cardona deathmatch two-pack, as well as a line of figures that includes One Man Gang, Power & Glory, and Brian Pillman, who comes packaged with a toy handgun.
In the press release for its officially licensed CM Punk action figure, Zombie Sailor announced, “The Best in the World receives The Best Figure in the World with precise character likeness, meticulously-recreated tattoos, sculpted arm tape with true-to-life drawn-on X symbols, and authentic ring attire!” In addition to this, every pre-order includes a free bonus figure of Larry, CM Punk’s dog.
Most of Zombie Sailor’s action figures are limited releases, but the pre-order for CM Punk will be open for two weeks, so there’s plenty of time to order your new CM Punk and Larry toys.
Considering that a retro-styled CM Punk AEW figure was released today on Ringside Collectibles, and Panini just shared an image of a new WWE CM Punk trading card, it’s hard to predict where new CM Punk merchandise might show up next.
