NXT is borrowing gimmicks from WCW tonight. That’s just about all you need to know going in.

Shotzi and Scarlett are hosting tonight because they have a Network show or something.

Kiana James vs. Roxanne Perez (Devil’s Playground Match)

It’s a plunderin’, Tony.

Garden variety hardware here. Loaded purse factors into the pin for the heroine.

Winners: Roxanne Perez

Vic Joseph sits down with Carmelo Hayes to talk Trick. Nothing of consequence here.

Elsewhere, Akira Tozawa steals the Heritage Cup. Ugh.

Lexis King vs. Dante Chen

Debut time. Squash time.

Winner: Lexis King

Ariana Grace vs. Kelani Jordan

Split-legged Moonsault gets the duke for Jordan, who moves onto the Breakout finals. Can’t say I’m surprised at the result.

Winner: Kelani Jordan

To the back we go, where Robert Stone and Von Wagner are huddling. Stone is facing Bron Brekker next week apparently.

Elsewhere, we get the setup for Creeds vs Los Lotharios.

Chase U vs. Tony Deangelo / Stacks

Not surprisingly, Jacy Jayne factors into the final as she takes a bump off Tony. Weak finish and I’m still shocked that the pairing sticks together to this height.

Winners AND NEW champions: Chase U

Backstage (or somewhere), Nathan Frazer reveals he’s the next challenger to Dom Mysterio.

Somewhere else, McKenzie Mitchell talks with Baron Corbin about his narrow defeat last week.

Blair Davenport vs. Gigi Dolin (Lights Out Match)

More plunderin’ Tony!

Davenport hits a wicked Falcon Arrow from the announce desk through a table. Nice hardcore romp.

Winner: Blair Davenport

Sitdown interview with Ilja Dragonov is watched by Carmelo Hayes, who is accused by our hosts of being Trick’s assailant.

Elsewhere, a McKenzie interview leads to a brawl between Tiffany Straton and Fallon Henley.

Lola Vice vs. Karmen Petrovic

No shock as Vice advances to the Finals of the Breakout tourney. High Kick finishes it.

Winner: Lola Vice

More backstage stuff, first with Meta-Four hunting for Tozawa, then Breakker and Hayes huddle.

Before the main event begins, Jade Cargill arrives to take in the battle.

Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria

Even-Stephanie match to start.

Lyra comes out with some strong offence soon after. Dropkick through the ropes gives her a solid ADV.

Lyra avoids both of Becky’s finisher attempts and continues her offence. Becky goes to the well again and can’t finish. Eventually gets the Disarmer but Lyra makes the ropes.

More offence from Lyra leads to near falls. Becky attempts the Manhandle Slam but Lyra reverses into… a pin! Shocked to say the least.

Winner AND NEW NXT Women’s Champion: Lyra Valkyria

Surprising finish here. Curious what the next step is.

Until next time, Stay Classy.
