Greetings and salutations! I am back taking over NXT for the week. After an incredible No Mercy PLE I am expecting a few fresh angles to start and a few angles to keep going. I am so interested to see how the dynamics between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams continue. Will they set up a jealousy angle now that Williams is the one with the title? And how will Becky Lynch’s title reign on NXT continue? I hope we find all this out and more on this week’s TV so without further ado, let’s get to the action!

Becky Lynch Speaks…

Lynch shas the mic and starts things off by saying that she nor Tiffany Stratton are cleared to wrestle because they beat the piss out of each other. Lynch gives Stratton some credit and says that when she won the title, she said she wanted to elevate it. Lynch is now focused on Hallowwen Havoc.  Lyra Valkyria comes out and says that Lynch is why she became a wrestler.

Valkyria is about to challenge Lynch but Indi Hartwell is out! Hartwell walks to the ring and reminds Lynch that she never lost the title. Roxanne Perez is out and says she wants her title back. Dragunov says we can refer to him by many names, but especially the new NXT Champion. Dragunov has kind words for former champion, Carmelo Hayes. Dragunov said that he can barely stand, but he does stand. He promised he would fulfill his destiny, and he did. Dragunov says that his reign will be a symbol of incomparable passion and says that he will protect that promise with his life. Long live the Zsar!

Trick Williams is out and he immediately congratulates Dragunov. He says he’s not here because of Dragunov’s championship. He’s here because someone else won a title at No Mercy. Williams is the NEW NXT North American Champion. Williams credits Dragunov for pushing him to the next level. Dragunov tells Williams he is proud of him.

Carmelo Hayes is out and he tells Dragunov that he appreciates the kind words. Hayes asks Williams why he is thanking Dragunov because it was him telling WIlliams for years that he would be a champion. Hayes tells Williams that winning the title is one thing; defending it is another.
