Greetings and salutations all! Its another week of AEW Dynamite. We are firmly on the road to building towards Blood and Guts in a week’s time. This week’s show is being built purely on the reveal of the 5th men for both The Elite and Blackpool Combat Clubs. We are also in the middle of so without further ado, let’s get to it.

Chris Jericho VS Komander (w/Alex Abrahantes)

This was a very strange encounter. Both men did well, but the chemistry may have been off for this match. Jericho is out there to prove that he can do things on his own and re-invent himself, so there were no JAS members out there. Komander started that match quickly, but Jericho was able to gain control of the match for a short while until Komander did a corner handstand turned Dropkick, followed by a Springboard Hurricanrana which sent Jericho to the floor. Komander with a Tornillo dive. Komander then managed to connect on knees, then took Jericho back to the inside of the ring. Jericho is able to regain control of the match at this point with a Mid-Air Forearm. Jericho now with some chops, and a Brainbuster. Komander attempted a comeback with a series of lightning fast kicks, but Jericho came right back with a hip toss sending Komander to ringside.

Jericho stalked Komander outisde of the ring and hit a Suplex making Komander land on the apron. Jericho began mocking the crowd, which gave Komander the time to recoup. Komander with a Springboard Head Scissors, but Jericho came right back with two Powerbombs as a response. Jericho misses a Lionsault, opening the door for Komander to hit La Magistral, but the pin was only good enough for a 2-count. Jericho connects with a Lariat. Komander is now on the corner and trying to fight Jericho off, but Jericho goes for a Superplex. The Superplex is blokced, and Komander goes for a Rope Walk Shooting Star. Jericho tried to regain control but missed with a Springboard Dropkick which sent him outside. Komander does his Rope Walk Dive, followed by a Phoenix Splash. This was all only good for a 2-count. Back in the ring, Komander thought he had control of Jericho until he went for another rope walk dive, but Jericho turned this one into a Code Breaker. Jericho with a Judas Eddect, but Komander moved out of the way and went for a Springboard ‘Rana, but Jericho manages to turn this into a Lion Tamer for a tap out from Komander.

Winner: Chris Jericho

After the match, Don Callis comes out and tells Jericho that he has been a fan for 34 years. He said that Bad News Allen was also a fan (as he showed clips of them together). Jericho recalls Allen telling him that he and Callis should stick together.

Alex Marvez is in the parking lot waiting for Jack Perry. He is beside a car and begins to knock on the window. Perry comes out and says that it’s been an unsafe working environment. HOOK comes out and opens the door, but Perry runs away. HOOK tells him to keep running.

In the back, Renee Paquetter catches up to Don Callis who mentioned he will announce BCC’s 5th member. Paquette mentioned that she’s surprised he’s wandering the building alone with Kenny Omega also there. Callis said that Omega is someone he’s not afraid of.

Later on, MJG forces Cole to put on their new T-Shirt. Cole said he would if they play Fight Forever together next, which they do. MJF is shocked and angry at his stats in the game ashe said he’s never had a friend to play a multi-player game with Cole and MJF agree to win the Blind Eliminator tournament, and the AEW Tag Team titles. We get a slow-mo high-five to end the promo.

This was a fast paced match. Cassidy and Guevara get things started with a few arm drags each. Allin is in and takes out Garcia. Garcia ends up tripping up Allin and throws him outside and into the barricade. Garcia with a spinning front chancery on Allin as we head to a commercial. Guevara throws Allin to Garcia who hits a Code Red. Garcia with a tag. Garcia charges Allin in the corner, but missed and Cassidy tags Cassidy back in the match. Cassidy clears the ring, but Garcia with a bock to a DDT. Cassidy hits a Michinoku Driver on Garcia for a 2-count. Renee Paquette is with Adam Cole backstage. Cole is on the phone with Britt Baker trying to explain what happened with MJF on their night out (as if she couldn’t just watch the promo). Roderick Strong comes in and questions Cole on falling for MJF’s BS. Cole re-iterated he has nothing to worry about, and MJF isn’t a half bad guy. Cole reminds Strong that they had issues when they first met and now they are best friends. Strong continues but Cole cuts him off when he got a text from MJF. Cole walks away calling MJF, as Strong and Paquette shake their heads at what is going on.

Blind Eliminator Semi Final: AEW World Champion MJF & Adam Cole VS Big Bill & Brian Cage (w/Prince Nana)

The first half was comedy. Cole reveals the shirt. Cole and Cage have a pushup challenge, MJF tried to bodyslam Bill to no avail, just to name a few spots. As the match gets serious, Bill rips MJF’s shirt off and MJF powers up and finally got the Body Slam. Cage tried to hit a clothesline, but MJF dodges it and does a good ol poke in the eye. Cole with the hot tag and hits a few Pump Kicks on Cage. Cole with his own eye poke on Cage. Cole and MJF try for a double clothesline, but Cage stops running, and Bill connects on a Clothesline on both Cole and MJF. Bill with a double clothesline, but MJF and Cole get out of it and hit Super Kicks on Cage. MJF hit a Heat Seeker, while Cole hits The Boom and they get the huge win to advance to the finals.

Cole says he never thought he would ever team with MJF, but if they stay on the same page, Cole promises that we are looking at the new Tag Team Champions. Cole and MJF with a double “We’re Better than You, Bay Bay”. Strong is watching very annoyed.

Renee Paquette is with Jake Hager outside of Jericho’s dressing room. Hager goes in and asks Jericho if he’s joining Callis? Jericho admits that Callis is making some good points, and he has tons to think about. Hager takes off his purple bucket hat and reminds Jericho that he saved him in Abu Dhabi. Hager says that until he gets a real answer, he can’t be by Jericho’s side. Hager gives Jericho the hat and walks away.

Soho with a Ripcord early but Blue avoids it. Blue with a slap for Soho. Storm asserts herself into the match but Blue Superkicks her and Saraya before dropping Soho face first to the ring mat. The Ref saw this and just kicks out Saraya and Storm, allowing the match to continue but having it one on one.

Blue is still down from the attack, and Soho takes advantage by hitting Blue’s knees to the ring steps. After a commercial break, Blue finally gets some more offense as she connects with a Thrust Kick followed by a Neckbreaker for a 2-count. Blue with a Step-up Knee, but Soho avoids it.
