We are closing in on the end of the Best of the Super Jr. 30 tournament, and today marked the semi-finals. Mike Bailey will be taking on Master Wato and Titán will battle El Desperado, the two winners will compete this Sunday in the tournament finals.

Bailey and Wato got the match started with an exchange of kicks, but Wato was able to send Bailey to the outside with a dropkick. Wato then hit a springboard plancha to the outside onto Bailey and he attempted to follow that with some big kicks, but Bailey hit him with a flurry of kicks. Bailey now with the momentum, big booted Wato off the apron and then hit him with a springboard moonsault on the outside.

He then walked into the crowd and ran back through the fans toward Wato and leaped at him hitting him with a knee. Bailey was now in the driver’s seat and he then hit Wato with leaping double knees right into the chest. He then hit a running boot into the corner and followed that with a springboard double knee drop.

Bailey was just toying with Wato, hitting a number of kicks and he then went for a standing shooting star, but Wato rolled out of the way and hit a bulldog. Wato was starting his comeback, hit a neck breaker, a dropkick and then hit Bailey with a tope on the outside. He then went big attempting a springboard European uppercut, but Bailey caught him into a cross armbar.

Wato was able to turn the armbar into a roll-up and then lock Bailey into a Vendaval, but Bailey was able to reach the ropes. Bailey then hit Wato with two brutal kicks to the face, and he went for the running spinning kick, but Wato blocked and hit Recientemente. Both men now ended up on the apron trading kicks to the chest, Bailey was able to drop Wato and hit a moonsault double knee drop on the apron.

Bailey then hit a picture-perfect Ultima Weapon from the top rope but somehow Wato kicked out at two. He was now looking for a Flamingo Driver and Wato reversed into a TTD. Wato then caught Bailey with a spinning kick to the jaw and then hit the Tsutenkaku German to get the victory and advance to the finals!

El Desperado and Titán got the main event started with some quick chain wrestling trying to see who would make the first mistake. Titán was able to arm-drag Desperado onto the floor and then run up the ropes to hit Desperado with a hurricanrana. He then went for a second hurricanrana on the outside, but Desperado blocked and instead drove Titán’s knee into the floor.

Desperado now threw Titán head-first into the ring post and then launched him into all the chairs in the stands. They returned to the ring and Titán was able to hit two superkicks and then a springboard hurricanrana followed by a suicide dive to the outside. Titán now returned the favor to Desperado by launching him into the chairs in the stands.

These men were now fighting in the stands and Titán made his way to the second floor of the stadium and jumped from the balcony hitting Desperado with a crossbody. They then returned the ring and Titán locked Desperado into an Indian deathlock. Titán was heavily focused on Desperado’s knee, he hit a dragon screw and then put him in a knee bar.

Titán was then looking to take a run at Desperado, but he was met halfway and hit with a spear. Desperado was working to get himself back into the match now, hitting a back suplex and then a vertical suplex. Both men were now trading strikes, but Titán then ran at Desperado and leaped off the ropes hitting him with a brutal tornado DDT that sent him to the floor once again.

Titán then went for a suicide dive, but as he came through the ropes he was met with a right hand from Desperado. However, as Desperado tried to get back in the ring he was knocked off the apron again. Now Titán went high-risk again this time hitting a successful tope over the top onto Desperado.

Titán then laid Desperado on the floor and went to the top rope, he leaped with a double foot stomp to the outside, but Desperado was able to roll out of the way. Following all that impact on Titán’s legs, Desperado brought him back into the ring and locked in Numero Dos. Titán made it to the ropes and then Desperado quickly hit him with Guitarra de Angel.

Desperado then hit a spine buster and put Titán right back into Numero Dos, but Titán got over the top and hit a Canadian Destroyer. Titán then hit another tornado DDT and he then leaped off the top rope hitting Desperado with the double foot stomp, but Desperado kicked out at two. Titán then locked Desperado into his leg-trapped cross-face submission hold, and Desperado had no choice but to submit! Titán now advances to the finals of BOSJ to take on Master Wato!
