Tonight at NXT TakeOver: Toronto 2019, NXT Champion Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano look to settle it all in two out of three falls. A singles match, a street fight, and a barbed wire steel cage match determine who walks out NXT Champion! NXT Tag Team Championships: Street Profits (c) vs. Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly)

O’Reilly starts with Angelo Dawkins and Dawkins pushes him into the corner, asking O’Reilly if he thinks he’s a joke. Dawkins pats his head and KOR slaps him, making Dawkins tackle him in the corner. Dawkins with a takedown and KOR tries to scramble, but gets taken down again. KOR grabs a leg and walks Dawkins back to the corner, getting the tag to Fish. Fish with a forearm, but Dawkins comes back with a shoulder tackle. Montez Ford in with a dropkick for a nearfall and Fish worked in the Street Profits corner. They work the left arm of Fish. Fish with a strike combination against Ford and he throws him outside. KOR in and he drops Ford with a forearm as Ford tries to fight out of the corner. Ford comes back with arm drags and a dropkick to bring in Dawkins. Tandem offense from Street Profits, but Dawkins gets snapped on the top rope and Ford gets his leg swept on the apron to drop him to the floor. KOR leads Dawkins on a chase ringside and Dawkins falls to numbers after a Fish back elbow. Dawkins worked down by Undisputed Era. Ground-and-pound from KOR on Dawkins. Dawkins hits a back body drop on Fish and brings in Ford for the hot tag. Ford with leapfrogs to a clothesline on Fish. KOR knocked outside and a belly-to-back suplex is followed by a standing moonsault for a nearfall by Ford.

Street Profits and Undisputed Era go at it.

Ford sets up for a People’s Elbow. KOR grabs his leg outside and Ford sends Fish out on top of KOR. Uranage from Ford inside gets a nearfall. KOR comes in and knocks Dawkins off the ring apron. Ford gets the right leg hit with a chop block and Undisputed Era go to work with a wheelbarrow German suplex for a nearfall. Ford set up top by Fish and Ford slaps him down. KOR gets knocked off the apron, but Fish crotches him up top. Super exploder suplex and a diving knee drop across the leg from KOR land. KOR locks in a kneebar and heel hook on Ford. Fish runs in and tries to keep Dawkins away, but Dawkins with a spinebuster on Fish that lands on the submission to break it. Dawkins in with a corkscrew corner splash and KOR hit with an exploder suplex. KOR hits a knee on Dawkins as he dives in. KOR with a guillotine, but Ford tags in and hits a blockbuster off the top for a nearfall that is broken by Fish. The two teams exchange in a hockey fight in the middle of the ring. Ford and KOR left in the ring. Ford kicks KOR out and lands a flip dive on Undisputed Era. Dawkins with spears on both of Undisputed Era and Ford with a Frog Splash on KOR.

Shirai immediately moves outside and LeRae follows with a baseball slide. Shirai with a forearm on the apron and she tries a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor. LeRae holds on, but Shirai pulls LeRae down onto the apron. Suplex on the announce table lands for Shirai and LeRae favors her neck as Shirai looks for a countout. LeRae makes it back in with less than a second on the count and Shirai works her down. Flapjack and dropkick get a nearfall for Shirai. LeRae comes back with a flying headscissors and Shirai lands on her feet and poses. Shirai with a dropkick and modified Camel Clutch. Running Air Raid Crash gets Shirai a nearfall. LeRae able to send Shirai to the apron, but Shirai snaps her on the second rope. Missile dropkick sidestepped by LeRae and she works the comeback with strikes. Brainbuster gets LeRae a nearfall. Octopus stretch applied by LeRae. Shirai drops LeRae on the second rope and looks for the 619, but LeRae catches it and whips Shirai around for a rope-assisted neckbreaker that gets a nearfall. Shirai able to get the 619 to the neck of LeRae the second time around. LeRae knocks Shirai to the floor and lands a suicide dive into the tornado DDT. Double stomp off the top gets LeRae a nearfall.

Io Shirai and Candice LeRae are fighting through the ropes.

Shirai catches a forearm attempt from LeRae for a crossface. LeRae stacks Shirai for a nearfall and Shirai comes back with a running forearm. German suplexes exchanged between the two and Shirai gets a second one for a nearfall. Shirai with double knees in the corner and she goes up top. LeRae looks for a German superplex, but Shirai lands on her feet. LeRae sends Shirai into the corner and Shirai snaps LeRae down. Shirai lifts LeRae and LeRae with a reverse hurricanrana for a nearfall. Swinging neckbreaker off the second rope gets LeRae a nearfall. LeRae up top and Shirai meets her for a Spanish Fly off the top rope for a nearfall. LeRae with a pinning predicament and Shirai hooks the arms for a butterfly backbreaker. Moonsault gets a nearfall on LeRae and Shirai in disbelief. Shirai with slaps and kicks and she locks in a Koji Clutch. LeRae gets her arm tired up and is unable to tap.

Before the NXT North American Championship match, Matt Riddle makes his way out and calls Killian Dain out to the ring for a fight. They fight off officials as they brawl around ringside and up the ramp. Riddle takes out a few officials on the stage and Dain with a running crossbody. Riddle on the back of Dain for a sleeper and Dain dives off the stage and through tables by the stage.

NXT North American Championship Triple Threat: Velveteen Dream (c) vs. Roderick Strong vs. “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne

The Velveteen Dream is brought to the ring by the Toronto Raptors dancers and with Mountie-inspired attire.

Dream, Dunne, and Strong stand-off and Dream shushes Strong as he talks trash. Strong drops him and clotheslines him out. Strong with chops on Dunne and Dunne comes back with a clothesline. Dunne tries to stomp the elbow, but Strong avoids it. Dream clotheslines Strong out and backs up into Dunne. Strong drags Dunne out and runs him into the apron. Dream with mounted punches in the corner on Strong and an axhandle smash. Dunne and Dream team up on Strong and send him outside. Dream grinds and waves at Dunne before they exchange submission attempts. Dunne with a flying armbar and Dream stacks him for a nearfall. Dream lands on all fours on a Bitter End attempt. Strong sweeps Dream down and crotches him on the ring post. Strong with backbreakers on Dunne and Dream outside. Strong with a back suplex on Dunne inside for a nearfall. Strong works Dunne down and lands a backbreaker for a nearfall. Dream comes in and drops Strong with punches and a clothesline. Russian legsweep gets a nearfall on Strong. Backbreaker from Dream followed by an elbow drop. Sharpshooter in on Strong. Dunne sneaks to the top rope for a missile dropkick to the back of the head of Dream. Dunne takes out Strong and Dream with a moosault outside. German suplexes on Dream and Strong get nearfalls back inside.

Strong and Dream work together to ground-and-pound Dunne, but Dunne up and they exchange strikes with Dunne being the last man standing. Stomps on both men’s fingers. Dream with a Dream Valley Driver on Dunne. Strong with an Olympic Slam on Dream. Dunne with an X Plex on Strong that puts all three down. Dunne meets Dream up top and Strong joins to complete the Tower of Doom. Strong knocks Dream outside and Dunne locks in a triangle. Strong lifts and drops Dunne across his knee for a backbreaker. Tiger Bomb from Strong blocked by a Dunne triangle choke. Strong posts up in the corner and Dream with a coast-to-coast elbow drop on Dunne. Strong takes out Dunne and Dream to lock in a double Strong Hold. Dunne gets the fingers of Dream and pulls him into a flying knee from Strong. Dunne snaps the fingers of both. Dream holds the referee Dunne lands Bitter End on Strong. Dream holds the referee’s arm to stop the three count and Dunne beats Dream down. Strong able to get Dunne in the Strong Hold. Dream sends Strong out and lands a Dream Valley Driver. Strong sends Dream out and lands End of Heartache. Dream dives back in to knock Strong off the cover and covers Dunne for himself.

NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Mia Yim

Baszler goes for submissions and Yim grabs at the ear and nose to break them. Baszler looks for an armbar and Yim fishhooks the mouth and pulls the hair to get in position for the rope break. Yim with arm drags into the armbar. Yim with a big boot in the corner and a cannonball. Dive from Yim met by a strike from Baszler. Yim throws Baszler into the steps and traps Baszler’s arm between the stairs and ring post. Yim dropkicks the steps and Baszler favors the arm and uses a referee’s check to recover. Baszler rolls away as Yim tries to dive at her and Baszler with a head kick to the back of the head. Baszler favors the right arm as she works Yim down. Baszler able to stomp the left arm of Yim and she focuses her offense with submissions on the left arm. Baszler works Yim down again, landing kicks in the corner. Yim breaks a submission by pulling Baszler down by her hair, but Baszler comes back with a clothesline and a dropkick. Yim rakes the eyes to land a back suplex. Yim works the comeback and hits a suicide dive outside. Tornado DDT back inside gets a nearfall. Baszler comes back with kicks and knees for a nearfall. Yim and Baszler fight up top and Yim with an avalanche Code Blue for a nearfall.

Yim comes off the ropes, but gets caught by a Kirifuda Clutch. Yim attacks the injured arm of Baszler and stomps it down. Penalty Kick lands and armbar in for Yim. Baszler scrambles and counters to the Kirifuda Clutch. Yim out and Baszler with a headscissors choke into a triangle choke.

Fall One: Singles match

Cole and Gargano feel each other out and Gargano controls the submissions. Counters exchanged with early finisher attempts to a stalemate. Gargano baits Cole with a fake Panama Sunrise attempt to set up a hurricanrana and Cole sent out for a baseball slide. Gargano sends Cole back in and Cole rolls back out. Gargano with an apron kick, but a stomp misses. Cole misses on a kick attempt and he kicks the steps. Gargano drops Cole on his right knee on the apron and focuses the offense on the right leg. Indian Deathlock applied and Cole gets to the apron. Cole catches a leg from Gargano and drags him out to land a wheelbarrow suplex onto the apron. Cole takes control to work Gargano down. Hangman’s neckbreaker gets a nearfall and Cole locks in a triangle choke. Gargano grabs an ankle lock to get out, but Cole rolls through and sends Gargano into the second turnbuckle. Cole favors his leg coming off the top and it allows Gargano to work the comeback. Rolling kick connects and a slingshot spear countered by Cole. Gargano turns it into a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall. Cole gets Gargano up top and tries a superkick, but Gargano with a flying stomp on the leg while it is caught on the second rope. Figure Four Leglock applied by Gargano. Cole gets the rope break and hits a back elbow on Gargano. Gargano caught for a wheelbarrow suplex that gets a nearfall.

Cole with a pump kick and enzuigiri. Panama Sunrise blocked for a sunset driver by Gargano that gets a nearfall. Gargano and Cole fight up top and Cole’s knee buckles trying a powerbomb. Codebreaker on Gargano lands as Gargano comes off the top. Michinoku Driver from Cole gets a nearfall. Both land clotheslines and Gargano sends Cole out. Cole with a head kick as Gargano tries a dive. Gargano with a sunset flip that sends Cole into the barricade. Cole blocks a slingshot spear back inside with a superkick. Neckbreaker across the knee gets Cole a nearfall back inside. Cole brings in a chair to distract the referee and he hits a low blow on Gargano to set up a superkick for a nearfall. Cole sits in the chair and argues with the referee. Gargano with a superkick and he has the chair. Gargano hits Cole with the chair.

Fall Two: Street Fight

Gargano continues to beat Cole down with the chair and lands a suicide dive. Gargano brawls Cole through the crowd and takes a selfie. Cole tries to fire back, but Gargano puts him down and bounces him against walls in a chair. They break through the barricade on a crossbody and Gargano takes Cole to the announce tables. Cole rakes the eyes, but gets hit with a back body drop the announce table. Gargano gets tables and chairs in the ring and Cole recovers enough to land a shining wizard as Gargano gets things in the ring. Ushigoroshi on an opened chair from Cole lands for a nearfall. Cole gets up top, but Gargano hits a lawn dart into the wedged chair in the corner. GargaNo Escape applied.

Fall Three: Barbed Wire Steel Cage

Cole goes for a weapon and Gargano meets him with strikes as they hockey fight in the middle of the ring. Cole with a pump kick and a superkick. Gargano with a rebound lariat. Gargano gets a kendo stick and Cole with a superkick. They both get kendo sticks and beat each other with them until they both land superkicks. Gargano up first as the crowd chants that this is awesome. Gargano goes for a ladder at the top of the cage. Hurricanrana and reverse hurricanrana on Cole land to sit him in a chair. Superkick gets a nearfall for Gargano. Gargano sets up a table, but Cole runs Gargano into the cage and works him down. Backstabber with the kendo stick from Cole gets a nearfall. Cole works Gargano down and gets him up in the corner. Gargano uses a fire extinguisher to put Cole down. Tornado DDT on the chairs gets a nearfall on Cole. Gargano works Cole over with a kendo stick and goes for more weapons on top of the cage. Cole meets him and Gargano with a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope for a nearfall. Gargano gets the sledgehammer off the top. Cole with superkicks and a Panama Sunrise for a nearfall. Cole with a Panama Sunrise coming off the ladder for another.

Cole works Gargano with a kendo stick. Gargano takes a chair to the knee of Cole and locks in an STF with the kendo stick. Cole down and Gargano gets two tables set up. Gargano works Cole with the kendo stick and lands a Canadian Destroyer off the top for a nearfall. Gargano gets a bag with tools and goes up top. Gargano uses a wire cutter to bring down some barbed wire. Cole gets up top and they fight on top of a cornered table on top of the cage. They fall through to the tables below and Cole rolls over to drape an arm over Gargano.
