The WWE has announced that it will air a Mark Henry original documentary this Sunday, February 17, following the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Entitled The Mark Henry Story, the biography will serve as a journey through Henry’s career with the WWE, also highlighting his championship wins.

The athlete nicknamed “The World’s Strongest Man” said that although this was a cool experience, it was an emotional one as well.

“There were things that I had not thought about for a long time or people you think about and you don’t realize how much they helped you,” Henry told SLAM! Wrestling.

He said he is very much looking forward to seeing it when it premieres, but also how his fans will react to the documentary.

“My fans have always loved me and I’ve always loved them, even when I was the bad guy and told them to get out of my face,” Henry exclaimed.

Overall, he added that going through the filming process made him feel even more grateful for his career and the people he met along the way.

Henry is still involved in the WWE, acting as an ambassador, helping with talent development and serving as a mentor to new athletes. He hopes to continue with this role and be a leader for those who wish to follow in his footsteps.
