The unstoppable team of The United Empire’s Jeff Cobb and Callum Newman are now leading A Block in the World Tag League Tournament. They have won every one of their matches thus far giving them six points. The teams of FunkySauce (Alex Zayne and Ryusuke Taguchi) and Bullet Club (Kenta and Chase Owens) are in danger of being eliminated as they have yet to win a single match.

The interesting thing is Kenta was part of MLW’s show last night and he was injured by Dijak. Kenta and Owens seem to have things in hand as they double team Cobb in the middle of the ring. They hit him with a Code Breaker and a bulldog at the same time. Newman makes the save. Newman fights off both men but the numbers game catches up with him. Kenta hoists Cobb onto his shoulders. Cobb escapes. Owen mistakenly super kicks Kenta in the face. Newman takes out Owens with a running knee strike. Cobb pins Kenta with a Tour of the Islands. Bullet Club is now on the bubble of being eliminated.

TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa) versus FunkySauce (Alex Zayne and Ryusuke Taguchi) – A Block
Sabre escapes the Psycho Driver. He puts Zayne in a sleeper hold. Oiwa puts Taguchi in a sleeper hold too. Zayne escapes, frees Taguchi only for TMDK to put them into sleeper holds again, just having switched victims. Sabre pins Zayne with a Zach Driver.

Shota Umino and Tomoaki Honma vs Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi) – A Block
Goto blocks Umino’s Death Rider. Umino kicks out of Goto’s GTW. Umino has Goto held tight. Honma blasts Goto with a Kokeshi sending Goto into Umino’s bridging suplex. Death Rider wins the match.

LIJ (Shingo Takagi and Yota Tsuji) vs Bullet Club War Dogs (Gabe Kidd and Sanada) – A Block
Tsuji catches Sanada with a running knee strike. Tsuji leaps off the top rope only to have Sanada put his knees up. The knees catch Tsuji in the “lower abdomen”. Sanada argues with the official. He says it was accidental. Sanada pushes Red Shoes into the ropes and mule kicks Tsuji in the “lower abdomen”. Sanada misses the third time. Tsuji rolls him up for the pin and the two points.
