World Wrestling Entertainment women’s wrestler Natalya has been making waves of late, as she is heading to The National Wrestling Alliance on May 17th in Philadelphia, PA for the 2025 Crockett Cup. But in a recent announcement, she will be challenging current NWA Women’s World Champion, Kenzie Paige, for “The Burke” for this signature event.
NWA owner William Patrick Corgan made the announcement via social media. He said, “It’s always our distinct honor to host this modern version of the Crockett Cup, but holding the event in this great and historic building in Philadelphia, with the addition of a WWE Superstar such as Natalya, in an NWA title match no less, shows how far we have come.”

Paige has held the title for over 600 days, after defeating then-champion Kamille for The Burke on Night Two of the NWA 75 pay-per-view. Natalya has plenty of credentials to her name in the WWE, not to mention she is the daughter of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, who was one-half of the Hart Foundation.
This isn’t the first time they’ve encountered each other. During Game Changer Wrestling’s PPV of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII, Natalya (going by Nattie Neidhart at the time) finished her fight with Miyu Yamashita. As she went to the crowd, Paige was front and center, and you can see her flip off Neidhart, which led to a scuffle, and the backstage crew had to separate both women.

Of course, they’ve both taken shots at each other, such as their exchange on “X”, where Natalya posited a match with NWA wrestler Natalia Markova, and Paige took umbrage in this quoted retweet:
Lmao shady.
Don’t wanna wrestle the champ? I have an idea stay away from @nwa and the Crockett cup https://t.co/o1gFsior57— Kenzie Paige (@KenziePaige_1) April 24, 2025
This is already proving to be a stacked card, on top of NWA Heavyweight Champion, Thom Latimer, facing off against former TNA wrestler, Rhyno, for the Ten Pounds of Gold during this event.
While the results may be shown at a later time, fans in the Philadelphia area can still buy tickets to The Crockett Cup, which will be held at the historic 2300 ECW Arena.
