The WWE has announced that Rhea Ripley is on the shelf due to another injury.
Although they attributed it to the sneak attack by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on NXT last night, WWE is stating Ripley is suffering from a fractured right orbital socket.
Orbital bone fractures can heal on their own or need surgery to heal. It can take up to a month or more for a patient to recover.
Back in April, Ripley was forced to vacate the Women’s World Championship due to a shoulder injury that kept her out of action for three months.
DEVELOPING STORY: Following last night’s brutal attack at the hands of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the NXT parking lot, Rhea Ripley has suffered a fractured right orbital socket and will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.
