Last month, Tammy Lynn Sytch (Sunny) was sentenced to 17 years in prison for being involved in a fatal car crash. In March of 2023, Sytch was found to be four times over the legal alcohol limit when she crashed her car into a car which was stopped at a red light in Florida injuring several people and killing a 75-year-old driver, Julian Lasseter. The arrest came just four months after she had been released from prison for another DUI offence.

At her trial Sytch pleaded no contest to DUI manslaughter, four counts of DUI with damage to person and two counts of DUI with damage to property. She has been charged with DUI six times.

From the Lowell Correctional Institution, Sytch appeared on the little known BirdCallsLive podcast which features, chats with female prison inmates.

“As far as this situation goes I haven’t been able to publicly speak about the car accident I was involved in. The tragedy that occurred that day. The loss of a life that occurred which is the whole reason I am here but most people don’t realize how much remorse I do have and how it ripped my heart out. The day that car accident happened my soul died inside of me. I don’t think I will ever be the same…I never thought in my life I had to go through something like this. I will survive,” she said.

Sytch claims that even close friends have abandoned her.

“Believe it or not but some of my closest friends have turned their backs on me. There is this one girl I have known since seventh grade when the accident happened she sent me a really nasty message calling me a murderer and she hoped that I rot in hell…I was blown away by that…I couldn’t believe this person was acting like that towards me. It was a car accident. It had gone very wrong but the optimal word is ‘accident’. It is not like I meant to do anything. Nothing was premeditated. Nothing was intentional. It was a car accident. The way she treated me afterwards tore my heart out,” she said.

When asked about Vince McMahon’s current legal issues she called the situation “crazy”.

“He is looking at federal charges now so who knows what’s going to happen with that…I was floored. That dirty old man. (laughs) He is almost 80. I am surprised he can still get it up at 80…Never once was he out of line with me. You know what I do find weird about this girl who is in the news now? Doesn’t she look a hell of a lot like his daughter Stephanie?” she asked.

She then spoke about being recognized in prison and how people are trying to profit off her name.

“One girl asked for my personal ID, for me to sign it, so she could take it home and sell it on eBay and I said ‘no,’ and then another girl, believe it or not, has the balls to ask me for my underwear. She wanted me to sign my underwear, so she could bring them home and sell it on eBay. I told her that was absolutely not going to happen,” she laughed.
