Greetings and salutations. Its a huge week as Tony Khan has a new announcement. Additionally, Orange Cassidy will defend his International Title against Claudio Castagnoli. We will also see Willow Nightingale challenged Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship. With all this action, let’s get to the action!


Renee Paquette was backstage and was joined by AEW World Champion MJF. She asked him about his partners for tonight and he has a list of the entire AEW roster. MJF then says that he wants some advice from Adam Cole. Cole appears on a screen and says he wants to be there. Cole tells MJF to consider Samoa Joe’s offer. MJF walks away and says he needs to focus on his match for later. Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, roll up and accuse Cole of being The Devil, who hacks into the feed.

AEW International Champion: Orange Cassidy (c) VS Claudio Castagnoli (with Wheeler Yuta)


Cassidy starts things off hot to Castagnoli, but Castagnoli slams Cassidy hard on the mat. Castagnoli with some hard strikes. Catsgnoli with a Backbreaker and hits a Lariat sending the champ to ringside. Cassidy comes back and  slams the challenger to the ring post. Castagnoli now with a slam to the barricade. HOOK comes out and gets in Yuta’s face. They both get ejected from ringside. Castagnoli hits a stalling suplex off the top rope.

After some back and forth, Cassidy comes back and hits some chops and gets slammed onto the apron. Castagnoli takes it back to the ground. HOOK and Wheeler Yuta are now arguing backstage. Cassidy sends Castagnoli shoulder-first into the ring post and hits a diving DDT through the ropes and onto the floor. Castagnoli is back and gets Cassidy in the Swing and turns it into a Scorpion Death Lock, then locks a Crossface. Castagnoli with an uppercut and then he chokes Cassidy in a sleeper, but the champion fights back and hits Castagnoli with an Orange Punch and the Beach Break for the win.

Winner: AND STILL AEW International Champion; Orange Cassidy

After the match, Jon Moxley comes out and picks a fight with Cassidy. Moxley gains the upper hand and attacks security guards.


MJF knocks on Kenny Omega’s door. Chris Jericho answers and closes the door in his face. Wardlow gets in MJF’s face and picks him up to press him against the wall. Wardlow says he’ll take everything from MJF when he least suspects it. MJF walks by The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Max Caster asks MJF to team with them, and he walks away yet again.

AEW International Championship. He says he’s sick of Cassidy, and he challenges Cassidy to a match at AEW Full Gear.


ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & Hangman Adam Page (c) VS Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)


Page and Kaun start things and Hangman has the early advantage. Kaun is isolate as the faces take turns attacking him with their signature moves. The challengers take control and ground Matt Jackson. Page eventually makes the hot tag and clears house. Swerve Strickland comes to the stage and gets Page’s attention. Page runs to the back to chase him. Only the Bucks are left. The challengers are too much for the champs and they control Matt Jackson, eventually  use their numbers advantage and slam Matt with a Double Spinebuster. They now take Nick Jackson and slam him with an assisted triple powerbomb and double face buster, as Kaun pinned Nick to regain the titles.

In the back, Officials separate Page and Strickland. Ringside, Matt slams a table and hits a ring post with a chair as he is mad about the loss.

Backstage, MJF continues to look for a partner. He draws on Darby Allin’s sign on his locker room. MJF bumps into The Acclaimed again, and he ignores them.


Adam Copeland Speaks


Adam Copeland  looks back on his history with Sting and says he respects him and says he also respects Darby Allin. He then asks himself whether he will partner with them at Full Gear. TNT Champion Christian Cage, alongside Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne are out and Cage says he’s going to retire Sting at AEW Full Gear and reminds us that Darby Allin has had a “gimp arm” as of late.

Cage reminds Copeland of his neck problems and says he would hate for this fairytale to turn into a nightmare. Cage tells Copeland to back down and if he doesn’t then he will snap Copeland’s neck. Copeland has had it and brawls with Cage, Wayne, and Luchasaurus. Luchasaurus attacks Copeland from behind and the heels gang up on Copeland. Cage tells Wayne to get a chair for a Con-Chair-To, but Sting makes the save. Allin comes out and joins the fight. Copeland hits Cage with a Spear and says he will beat his ass as he agrees to team with Allin and Sting at AEW Full Gear.


Backstage, Tony Khan highlights AEW’s successful year, especially AEW All In. He says he can’t think of a better gift for the holiday season than a ticket to AEW All In 2024. Khan says fans can sign up for tickets now. The event will be on August 25.


Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega VS Matt Menard & Angelo Parker (with Jake Hager)


Parker and Menard start things off with a cheap shot but Jericho fights back and takes control for a bit. Parker and Menard are back at it and ground Omega. Jericho eventually makes the hot tag and clears house. Jericho hits Menard with a Dropkick sending him to the outside. Jericho hits a Code Breaker on Parker for a 2-count. Omega fires up on the mat and dives onto Hager at ringside. Jericho gets hit with a bat, and Parker goes for the pun, but Jericho kicks out at 2.9. Jericho moves out of the way of a second bat shot and hits the Judas Effect for the win.

Don Callis and the Don Callis Family come down the ramp. Callis challenges Omega and Jericho to face his family in a street fight in two weeks. Omega says they’ll team up with Kota Ibushi. Callis says they still need one person. Jericho says that he has a big friend….Paul Wight. Wight punches and drops Kyle Fletcher on the ramp.
Backstage, Chris Jericho hypes up the street fight where he will team with Paul Wight and Kota Ibushi. The Young Bucks interrupt and question the point of The Elite getting back together if they don’t help each other. Matt Jackson calls Jericho a prick and everyone is on high alert. Matt says Jericho will turn on Omega.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) VS Willow Nightingale


Shida and Nightingale start the match 50/50 with lock ups. Willow gains some momentum, but Shida sends her to the outside. Shida dives onto Willow at ringside. The two women trade strikes. Nightingale hits a dropkick from the second rope right onto the Champion, but Shida comes back with a Dropkick of her won on Nightingale. Shida hits an avalanche Falcon Arrow for 2. Nightingale hits a Pounce and a Death Valley Driver for a 2-count of her own. Nightingale hits Shida with a lariat. Shida comes right back and gets a Crucifix for a 2-count. SHida with a Knee strike and she hits the Katana for the win.

Nightingale and Shida shake hands and Toni Storm comes to the stage only for Shida to attack her. Storm runs to the back. The lights go out, and Julia Hart is in the ring when they come on. She extends her hand to Nightingale but Skye Blue comes in and attacks Hart. Blue spits blue mist in Hart’s face to get the upperhand.


The Acclaimed approach MJF again. He turns them down, and Jeff Jarrett and his faction try to recruit MJF but that doesn’t go as planned.

Roderick Strong and The Kingdom call Adam Cole. Strong gets upset that MJF didn’t ask them to team up and calls him up and Cole tells Strong to shut up.


Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson & The Gunns) VS MJF & TBA


The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn are MJF’s partners as MJF comes out wearing a pink scarf and a “Scissor Me” shirt. MJF and Juice Robinson start the bout. White tags in, but he tags out quickly. Bowens enters the match and takes control for a bit. Billy Gunn is in and drops White. MJF enters the match and White runs away. MJF refuses to scissor with The Acclaimed.

White takes control and takes Bowens down. Bowens is cut off from his team. Gunn and Bowens double-team Austin Gunn. The Acclaimed hit Colten with Scissor Me Timbers. MJF is finally about to Scissor with The Acclaimed but Bullet Club Gold stops it cold. Colten with some stomps on Caster in the corner all while White maintains the advantage later on. MJF makes the hot tag and clears house then he single handedly takes it to Bullet Club Gold. MJF chases Jay White again. In the ring, The Gunns drop MJF with a chop block but MJF hits a Kangaroo Kick but White sneaks up behind MJF and hits the Bladerunner for the win.

The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn save MJF from a beatdown. White goes to hit MJF with the title but Caster shoves MJF out of the way and takes the hit. MJF checks on Caster. Caster holds up a hand, hoping to scissor. MJF refuses. Gunn yells at MJF. MJF finally scissors The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.
