We are on the road to a few title matches with the Men’s and the women’s titles having a clear challenger between Alba Fyre and Von Wagner respectively. With that said, we will get the rubber match on the NXT Women’s Tag Team championships as we have a rematch from a couple weeks back. Without further ado, let’s get to it….


The show starts off with a match…


Joe Gacy (w/Ava Raine, Jagger Reid, Rip Fowler) vs. Cameron Grimes


The match started off with Cameron Grimes taking it to Joe Gacy. He delivered a Roundhouse Kick followed by Frankendriver. Grimes responded with a Yakuza Kick but Grimes was able to take control of the match with a set of Roundhouse Kicks. The match was a 50/50 affair as Gacy came back with elbow strikes

Gacy was able to take control of the match as he locked Grimes in a side headlock. Grimes was able to get out of this as he escaped and hit Grimes with a back elbow and stomps. Gacy kept control of the match as he could as he locked in a side headlock. Grimes was able to escape but Gacy followed that up with a back elbow and all the stomps Gacy was able to lock in a crossface but Grimes was able to escape.

It was here where the rest of Schism felt the need to interfere as they try to interfere in the match but Gacy hit them and Grimes was able to get a Poisonrana in. Fowler and Reid pulled Gacy out of the ring and Grimes flew out of the ring to take everyone out and tossed Gacy back in the ring. Reid distracted the referee as Ava Raine got involved and tossed Grimes off the top rope letting Gacy to hit the Upside down World for the win!

Winner: Joe Gacy


Backstage, Nathan Frazer is leaving the medical area and Axiom was curious as to what is wrong with him. Frazer said that he is injured and he will be out for a bit and Axiom said that he will be back in no time. That’s when the sick F*ck JD McDonagh walked in and knew what Frazer was injured with just based off his body language. He looked at Axiom and said that he would never have won the ladder match if he even qualified. There was an intense stare down between McDonagh and Axiom…

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were at the barber shop and Hayes gave respect to Wes Lee for winning the North American Championship but he said be never really him for the belt. Hayes said that he can beat Lee for the belt in no time. It was then revealed that next week on NXT TV that Lee and Hayes will have a contract signing for their match in two weeks time

Vic Joseph & Booker T were interrupted by a poem written by Scrypts. The poem revealed that he would be making his way to NXT soon.


Sol Ruca vs Elekta Lopez


Lopez started the match off with a vicious knee but Ruca came back with a chope and a facebuster. Lopez hit a clothesline and all the knees to Ruca’s back along with an elbow drop.

Ruca was able to get some offense with a series of kicks and a shoulder tackle with a splash in the corner but Lopez came right back as she sent Ruca down to the mat and hit an Elektra Bomb for the pin and the win!

Winner: Elekta Lopez

After the match, Indi Hartwell came down and attacked Lopez to return the favour from a few weeks back.


Andre Chase, Thea Hail & Duke Hudson are preparing for Chase’s match. Hail says she wants to get at Charlie Dempsey before Hudson says he will be at ringside to support him.

We get the now famous and overused Toxic Attraction Facetime call. Jacy Jayne just finished up at the mall and says she’s nervous about heading to the arena because of Alba Fyre. Rose said that id she is scared she should comer over to her house and extended an invite. Jayne gets pulled over by what we think is a mall cop but Fyre grabs the phone and says that she warned Rose she would take out Toxic Attraction 1 by 1. She tells her that she’s next.


Andre Chase vs. Charlie Dempsey


The match started off with a typical lock up and Dempsey hit a snapmare with a shoulder tackle. Chase came right back with a clothesline that sent Dempsey out of the ring and Chase sent followed him over and threw him back in. Dempsey came right back and hit Chase with a Northern Lights Suplex.

Dempsey then played his best ZSJ and locked Chase in a wrist lock but Chase found his way out and hit a clothesline. Chase came back and did a Russian Leg Sweep and followed that up Chase U Kicks. Dempsey was his best Regal and locked in an ankle lock. Outside, the towel was thrown in Hudson eventually after Hail was playing with it and didn’t want to thrown it in….

Winner: Charlie Dempsey


McKenzie Mitchell is with Indi Hartwell. Hartwell says she’s starting to understand how NXT works. She says no one will prove a point to her and says that she hasn’t forgotten what Elektra Lopez did to her a couple of weeks ago. She says that you have to take what you want and she’s finally going to bet on herself.

Brooks Jensen, Fallon Henley & Josh Briggs are at Henley’s family bar. They talk about sports before Kiana James and her assistant walks in. James says she’s there to talk about her proposal that was delivered last week and Henley says she told her no.

James says she sees potential in the property of the bar and Henley says the place is not for sale. She talks about the memories she has in the place before James presents her with a final offer. Henley says no one last time and James says that her and her family can continue to live their miserable lives. Henley got angry and kicked Jams and her assistant out


Stacks vs Hank Walker


The match started off with the two go back and forth with forearms. Walker whipped Stalks to the corner and followed it up with a plant but Stacks came right back with an elbow. Walker hit a clothesline that sent Stacks to the outside.Shortly after, Stack hit a kick to Walker’s head  and went for a pin ut it was only good enough for a two count

Walker then came back with a clothesline and started unloading punches which lead to a plant on the mat. Walker then hit Stacks weith a splash on the corner and a Military Press but Stacks hit a thumb to the eyes of Stacks along with a knee to the back of the head and neck to Walker. Stacks with the pin and the win!

The Waller Effect


Grayson Waller welcomes fans to The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller made fun of Truth’s injury and then introduced Von Wagner, Mr. Stone & NXT Champion Bron Breakker.

Waller asked Wagner for his thoughts about how Carmelo Hayes should be in Wagner’s spot. Wagner says he’s not surprised and says the commenter thinks that he’s in charge of NXT. He says he’s not in NXT to be liked or popular, but for the NXT Title. He says he laid him out last week and will do it again next week. Breakker got involved and said he doesn’t disagree with him, but says he should’ve come face to face with him because he’s the champ!

Waller asked Breakker his thoughts about a commenter who wants to see anyone but Breakker hold the title. Breakker said he gets it he hate but he is there to prove people wrong. Breakker said everyone wants a shot at his NXT Title, but no one will take his NXT Title away from him.

Wagner says that he will take it from him and tells him he’ll ragdoll him across the ring. Wagner continued by saying that he didn’t use his 2nd generation status to his advantage unlike Breakker & Breakker tells him to take the title off his shoulder now. Breakker takes out Stone and the two stare one another down to end the segment


The hardest working reported in all of pro wrestline, McKenzie Mitchell is backstage with Wes Lee. Lee said that not winning last week hurt him, but Carmelo Hayes’ words stuck with him. Lee said that he will make Hayes miss for the first time…

We head to a video recapping the events between Cora Jade & Wendy Choo last week that featured Jade addressing Choo.

We then head to a video Apollo Crews posted to his Twitter, in which he puts Bron Breakker on notice. Sure…..all talk……


Axiom vs. JD McDonagh 


The match started with both men locked up and trying to show who is the stronger wrestler. McDonagh hit a shoulder tackle but Axiom came right back with a backslide. McDonagh came back and kicked the midsection of Axiom. Axiom returned the favour with a kick that sent McDonagh to the outside of the ring.

McDonagh delivered a kick to Axiom’s thigh and locked in a Boston Crab but Axiom was able to grab the bottom rope to break the submission. Axiom then made a brief comeback by kicking McDonagh. McDonagh fired back with a moonsault off the top, but McDonagh catches him with a Triangle.

McDonagh  went for a powerbomb, but Axiom reversed it into a hurricanrana. Axiom locked in a Sleeper, but McDonagh reversed it into a Calf Crusher.

McDonagh twisted his knee all the way to one side and Medical personnel checked on Axiom before the referee stopped the match.

Winner By Referee Stoppage: JD McDonagh 


After the match McDonagh had a mic and said he gave him a severe strain because he’s a nice guy. McDonagh then said that he’s not a nice guy when he’s denied another shot at the NXT Title and sent a warning to Apollo Crews saying that he’s looking at him next…

We head to a video package hyping up the feud between Creed Brothers & Damon Kemp.


5 Min Challenge Match Brutus Creed vs. Damon Kemp


Brutus Creed attacked Damon Kemp on the ramp then the bell ringed. Brutus hit several right hands and followed it up with a belly 2 belly then sent him to the outside. He sent him into the ring steps shoulder first before sending his head into the announce desk twice.

Creed tossed Kemp back in the ring, but Kemp mounted a comeback. Kemp grabbed a chair, but Brutus knocked it out of his hand and hit the Brutus Smash. Brutus delivered a pair of sentons, then grabbed the chair and whacked it across Kemp’s back as the ref called the match…

Winner By DQ: Damon Kemp


After the match, Brutus looked at the chair like he had a plan and ended up grabbing the chair and hit Kemp across the back again. Diamond Mine came into the ring and Ivy Nile, Julius, and Brutus all celebrated. Veer and Sanga were eyeing them…

Dominik Dijakovic had another promo..

Backstage, Roxanne Perez approached Indi Hartwell and asked if she’s okay. Hartwell said that just because she’s focusing on herself, doesn’t mean she’s changed. Indi asked Perez if she learned nothing from the entire Cora Jade situation,  then walked away…


NXT Women’s Tag Team Title Match Kayden Carter & Katana Chance (c) vs. Zoey Stark & Nikkita Lyons


Katana Chance & Zoey Stark locked up and Chance tripped Stark before hitting a hurricanrana. Kayden Carter & Nikkita Lyons tagged in but Lyons locked in an arm submission, but Carter escaped

Lyons hits a bodyslam, but Carter sent her to the outside. After the commercial, Carter tagged in and delivered a back elbow. Carter hits a kick to Stark’s head and then sent Stark to the outside. Chance tagged in and delivered an assisted bulldog off the ropes. Lyons tagged in and knocked Carter off the apron. Chance with a crossbody off the top, but Lyons rolled through and plants her. Shortly after, Stark tagged in and hits the belly 2 back GTS and went for the pin but at 2.99999999 Chance kicked out.

Chance hit a stunner and went for a pin of her own but Lyons broke the fall. Carter with a kick as Chance & Stark exchange forearms. Stark looked for a forearm, but Chance ducked and Stark almost hit Lyons. Later on, Lyons was hit with a double superkick from Chance and Carter by pushing Stark out of the way. Chance hit a DDT before Carter tagged in and they hit their neckbreaker/450 Splash on Lyons for the pin and the win.

Winners & Still NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions: Kayden Carter & Katana Chance

After the match, Lyons & Stark ended up handing Chance & Carter the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. Stark then hit Lyons with a surprise attack by laying her with the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title then hit a running kick on her to end the show….

This was a strong episode of NXT where we are really seeing a new crop of NXT coming to fruition. We had some fun in-ring mixed in with a set up to two championship matches next week.
