The WWE has cancelled the upcoming NXT UK Takeover: Dublin pay-per-view.
The show was supposed to take place on June 20th at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. It was to be the fourth NXT UK TakeOver event and the first ever held outside the UK.
“NXTUK Live: Dublin scheduled to take place at 3Arena, Dublin on Sunday, June 20 2021 has been cancelled. Refunds will be available from point of purchase,” said the WWE in a statement.
The event has been hampered by COVID complications. It was supposed to take place on 26 April 2020 but was rescheduled to October 25th and then rescheduled again to June of this year.
