Discovering a treasure trove of vintage photos can lead to a gallery. 

Not long after Terry Dart passed away, Cliff Ketcheson posted a photo of Terry outside of an unidentified arena, walking alongside “Flyin'” Brian Pillman. 

Intrigued, I commented on the Facebook post, and it was established that it was from the NWA’s return to Toronto on June 27, 1990 at the CNE Coliseum. Well, I was there too, and had written about it in my Canadian Wrestling Report newsletter. 

Exchanging messages with Cliff, a fan from Toronto who now lives in Victoria, British Columbia, I learned that Cliff had MORE photos from that show. (That’s Cliff above in the photo with “Nature Boy” Ric Flair!)

Cliff described himself this way: 

I’m a dedicated wrestling fan I enjoy ed going to Maple Leaf Gardens, when it was the hot spot for wrestling in my teens. I have taken many photos of my favourite wrestling stars for many years. I also have a wide variety of wrestling memorabilia, from event posters to DVDs and photos. I have met several top wrestlers and have been privileged to have a photo with them. 

So I dug out a couple of photos that I had, the results from the newsletter, and collected up Cliff’s photos, and instant throwback gallery, and a complimentary story:
