AEW Rampage is done, kaput, pining for the missus.
We actually stopped covering it here at SlamWrestling.net a very long time ago, because it was pretty obviously a throwaway, meaningless show, kinda like AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation. It debuted with more than 1.1 million viewers … and limps off the air lucky to get a quarter of that. I mean, the second episode was titled “The First Dance” (since CM Punk returned, and the Michael Jordan documentary on Netflix, The Last Dance, was hot — does that not tell you a lot about the planning that went into Rampage?
But ace photographer George Tahinos loves to shoot pro wrestling, and when it’s at a great venue like the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, New York, he can’t resist … even for Rampage.

The show was taped on Sunday, December 22, 2024, and aired on Friday, December 27, 2024, kinda like leftover Christmas fruitcake no one is going to touch. (For the record, AEW head honcho Tony Khan said it was the last Rampage “for the foreseeable future.”)

In short, Moxley said that no one appreciates what he and his Death Riders have been doing in AEW. He offered an invitation to anyone who had a problem with them to come down … and some of the names to appear included Komander, Top Flight, Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, Hangman Page and Jay White … and then most of the locker room.
