Marcus ‘Buff’ Bagwell will be spending some time in jail but wanted to clear the air as to why he was.
In the video Bagwell explains what is happening, why it is happening, to get ahead of the news cycle.
“It is important for people to know I am in the best place I have ever been to in my life. I feel great and I am doing great,” he began. He said he has been sober for over two years.
Bagwell though has to return to jail at the Cobb County Jail. Bagwell is in a “strict” and “strong” program and was last arrested four years ago.
“This is called a ‘jail sanction’. A sanction is something you can get into trouble for in a DUI court. It could be being late. You can get a three day jail sanction like I got. It means you have done something wrong, you have violated rules,” explained Bagwell.
In the court document he displayed it stated that that Bagwell “violated the confidentiality rules of the court-ordered DUI program” in some way and was penalized for that.
He now must be jailed for 72 hours.
Bagwell insisted he has not relapsed and hasn’t been arrested again. This all stems from him violating the court-ordered DUI program.
