More details are being released about the abuse allegations made against former WWE superstar Odyssey Jones.
In a statement submitted to the court along with photographs, his ex-partner claims that when Jones discovered texts between her and another man he became enraged.
She says he threw objects at her and slammed her to the floor once and than again during another incident. The photos show bruises on her legs and arms. She claims Jones inflicted those injuries.
Police Orange County State Attorney’s Office is still reviewing the case but police recommended Jones be charged with battery. The woman states the only reason she went on a cruise with him is because he threatened her. She says Jones attacked her in their room, slamming her around and giving her a concussion.
Jones admits to becoming angry and throwing objects but he insists none were at his partner. He also denies assaulting her.
The partner claims that WWE investigated the accusations before firing Jones.
“He begged me to forgive him every time. It’s like two people live in one body. He put me through so much mental anguish. No one knows what happens behind closed doors. He would have violent outbursts and increasingly erratic frustration periods and take them out on me,” she told Post Media.
In response to the detailed accusations Jones posted on X:
“These are the claims I’m facing they are false and as said prior I will be taking legal action against said party. More information will come during our court hearings.”
Currently, Jones has an on-going protective order has pursued legal action against her. He stated that he feels as if he is in “imminent danger”.
Jones alleges that he, his friends and family were the target of harassment, threats and physical attacks.
