New Japan’s President Hiroshi Tanahashi was blindsided and knocked out by Evil on night eight of World Tag League.
It was a battle of the cellar dwellers as Just Four Guys’ Taichi and Taka Michinoku took on Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jado. The Ace and Jado have yet to win a match at the tournament.
Near the end of the match Taka just punched The Ace off the top rope. A knee in the corner, a kick to the back and a super kick by Taka took The Ace down for a two count. Taka spikes The Ace with the Michinoku Driver. Jado breaks up the pin.
Taka puts his crossface on The Ace. Taichi kicks The Ace square in the face then turns around putting Jado in the Stretch Plumb. The Ace reaches the rope to break the hold. The Ace drives Taka down with his version of the Michinoku Driver. Taka kicks out. Slingblade to Taka and Taichi. Jado takes out Taichi with a cutter. The Ace pins Taka with a High Fly Flow.
As Jado and The Ace celebrate their first win The House of Torture attacks them from behind. Togo and Narita stomp Jado into the ground. Evil hits The Ace with Everything is Evil. Evil stands over a fallen Ace playing air guitar and mocking him. At Wrestle Kingdom 19, Hiroshi Tanahashi will take on Evil in his last match. Tanahashi is the NJPW President.

LIJ (Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi) versus Stevie Filip and Tome Filip – B Block
Naito screws up a jackknife pin that looks like it should end the match. Naito and Hiromu’s assisted Tornado DDT gets broken up by Tome. Hiromu DDTs Tome. Assisted Tornado DDT and a Destino on Stevie by Naito for the 1, 2, 3.

Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg versus The United Empire (Great-O-Khan and Henare) – B Block
The Empire double teams Yano with Mongolian Chops, haymakers and a double kick. Yano does escape the double team by pushing both men into each other. Oleg double drop kicks the champs. Yano with the shot block and roll-up on Henare. Henare kicks out at two. Henare blocks the mule kick low blow. He head butts Yano. Yano is pinned by The Imperial Drop.

TMDK (Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls) versus House of Torture (Evil and Ren Narita) – B Block
Dick Togo, Evil and Narita attack TMDK from behind as they are making their way to the ring. Narita shoves Nicholls into Haste. Haste flies off the apron to the floor. Narita then shoves Nicholls into the official knocking him to the floor too. Evil and Dick Togo swarm Nicholls. Togo hits his chop to the crotch on Nicholls. Narita drops his Hell’s Guillotine knee drop on Nicholls. Nicholls kicks out.
Evil distracts the official. Narita swings at Nicholls with his push-up bar and misses. Haste kicks him in the face. Haste is pushes into the official by Evil. Evil hits him with a low blow from behind. Nicholls stands up from a double suplex. He gives Narita a spinebuster. Togo pushes a steel chair into the ring. Nicholls picks it up. The official jumps all over him and pulls the chair away. When the official’s back is turned Narita nails Nicholls with the push-up bar. Narita pins Nicolls with Double Cross.
