All the positive news for AEW this week which included a new TV deal and a five year anniversary didn’t translate into a spike in the ratings for Dynamite. The ratings actually went down.

This week’s edition of Dynamite brought in 680,000 overnight viewers. That’s down from 700,000 overnight viewers last week.

The key demos were also down from 0.23 to 0.20.

In stark contrast, NXT’s debut on the CW drew 895,000 total viewers this week.

In comparison, here are the recent wrestling TV ratings:

AEW Collision: 435,000 viewers.

AEW Rampage: 276,000 viewers.

WWE Raw: 1.516 million viewers.

WWE Smackdown: 1.568 million viewers.
