Jerry Lawler case in the death of his son Brian Christopher Lawler (Grandmaster Sexay) has been dismissed.

According to The U.S. District Court, Western District of Tennessee, Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office was in no way responsible for what happened to Jerry’s Lawler’s while he was in their custody.

Lawler had sued them for $3 million in damages claiming their failures are what led to the death of his son. Brian Christopher Lawler was found hanging in his cell after being arrested for DUI arrest. He died after being taken off life support some time later.

“The Plaintiff had failed to present evidence from which a jury could find that the individual officers knew that the Decedent possessed a “strong likelihood” of suicide, and disregarded that knowledge; therefore, Plaintiff could not show that the individual defendants were subjectively aware of such a risk,” stated the ruling.

The Lawler family has disputed the notion that Brian Christopher Lawler hung himself maintaining he had an altercation with another inmate when he was not supposed to be in contact with others.
