Greetings and salutations! The post-AEW All Out episode of Dynamite will go down tonight, and it is sure to be an important one as AEW continues to try to re-focus. After aa heinous betrayal and murder attempt, we will hear from Jon Moxley. We will also see an AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator match as AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May takes on Queen Aminata. We will also see Ricochet take on “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara. For the AEW TNT Championship we will see the champion and Scapegoat Jack Perry take on Lio Rush. Lastly, we have a Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match where the winner gets a title show at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 25. So without further ado, let’s get to the action.


This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicks off with a video package from ALL OUT where Jon Moxley says he wasn’t happy what he did, but he did what had to be done. He says that Bryan Danielson doesn’t have the stomach to do what it takes anymore. Moxley talks about the formation of the Blackpool Combat Club and what it was supposed to represent. Moxley then says the egos in AEW are running out of control and he can’t take it anymore and says that he and the rest of the BCC tried things Danielson’s way of diplomacy, but it’s failed and he now chooses war.

We then cut to Darby Allin skateboarding through the parking lot.


Christian Cage Speaks


Tony Schiavone is in the ring and out comes Christian Cage and The Patriarchy. Christian Cage demands that everyone sits down and shuts up while he conducts business. Cage says with the guaranteed title contract, it’s undeniable that he has infinite aura. Christian Cage says when Killswitch grabbed him by the throat at All In, he knew that he’s finally the monster he wanted him to be. Cage says he didn’t get to cash in his title shot at All Out but promises that Danielson’s days as champion are numbered and then went on to say thaat he will beat Danielson so bad, Brie will be the one who wishes she had CTE.


Renee Paquette is in the back with fthe Don Callis Family as well as AEW International Champion “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay. Callis thanks Ospreay for being there and brings up Ospreay winning every Casino Gauntlet prior. Callis wants Ospreay to team with Kyle Fletcher and bring the family the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Ospreay says he has his hands full with Ricochet, but Callis reminds Ospreay that he owes him a favour. Fletcher says he is tired of being so close and not getting the job done, and says there is no one he would rather team with than Ospreay. Ospreay agrees, but Takeshita doesn’t look too happy.


AEW TNT Championship Match: “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry (c) VS Lio Rush


The match starts off with Perry going all out with stomps on Rush. Rush is pushed to the corner and Perry stomps a mud hole in him. Rush then tris to make a come back by punching Perry with some rights and lefts, and then hits a Dropkick on him. Perry then sends Rush crashing into the ring apron face first. Back int he ring, Rush gets a rollup on Perry but the ref was too busy ejecting Action Andretti out from ringside. The ref makes the count, but Perry then kicks out. Perry is on the outside and Rush follows him the fast way by hitting some Tope Suicidas on the outside. Rush then gets back in the ring with Perry and hits him with a standing Spanish Fly. Perry then hits Rush with a Razor’s Edge, then follows it up with a couple of Snap Dragon Suplexes and ends this combo with a reverse Hurricanrana. Perry then hits Rush with a running knee for the win.

Alex Marvez catches up with Jack Perry backstage. Perry says people like him are crucified in this lifetime so they can be worshiped in the next.


A video package recaps the steel cage match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland.

Hangman Page is backstage with Renee Paquette and says if he could find a thousand houses that Strickland lived in he would have burned them all to the ground. Page says anyone who tried to help or get in between he and Swerve will be hunted down and they will pay. Hangman walks by Top Flight, Dark Order, and others. Page eventually goes face to face with Jeff Jarrett who reads him the riot act before the two men start brawling. Page throws Jarrett onto a pile of steel chairs, and officials are there to restore peace.

Private Party, Komander and Alex Abrahantes are out for their Trios match, but Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC attack them as they made their entrance. Shafir puts Komander to sleep and Castagnoli sends Kassidy out of the ring. Shafir, Castagnoli and PAC are joined by Jon Moxley and PAC in the ring. PAC says he’s been lost for a long time, but now he has purpose thanks to Moxley. PAC then re-iterates what Moxley said on Saturday and says diplomacy has failed and AEW is theirs. Castagnoli and PAC then storms off as Moxley and Shafir stand over Komander.

The Learning Tree arrives in the parking lot. Chris Jericho says today is a glorious day as he found something in Cassidy’s backpack and he’s going to show it to everyone later tonight.


 Ricochet VS “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara


The match starts as both men then take turns in rolling each other up for pins. Ricochet then hits a boot on Guevara’s stomach, then follows it up with a Dropkick that sends Guevara out of the ring. Ricochet with a dive onto Guevara. Ricochet and Guevara then brawl up the ramp and Guevara sends Ricochet crashing into the entrance tunnel. Guevara then hits a Superkick on Ricochet and climbs up the entrance tunnel and lands a Moonsault on Ricochet. Ricochet then hits Guevara with an uppercut, and Guevara hits returns that with a Dropkick on Ricochet that sends him crashing into the barricade.

Ricochet then hits Guevara with a back body drop, then follows it up with a Swanton Bomb off the barricade and sends Guevara back inside the ring. Ricochet then hits a clothesline on Guevara off the top rope. Ricochet with a Standing Moonsault and gets a 2-count. Ricochet continues his assault ass he  delivers some kicks on Guevara’s chest. Guevara then hits a Canadian Destroyer on Ricochet, then climbs to the top and hits him with a cutter. After a pin attempt, Guevara then climbs back up to the top and looks to hits a 450 Splash. Ricochet avoids it, and Guevara hits a knee on Ricochet and is looking for the GTH. Ricochet escapes and hits Guevara with a scissor kick, then follows it up with Vertigo for the win.

Winner: Ricochet

After the match, The Beast Mortos attacks Ricochet. Guevara comes back into the ring with a chair in hand to even the odds and Mortos exits. fGuevara then raises Ricochet’s arm.


We get footage of Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale in a Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out.


Renee Paquette is in the back with AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada. Okada says defending his title at All Out was the hardest night of his life as he fought off tears, but in the end the match was too easy. Don Callis then shows up with Konosuke Takeshita and says that Okada didn’t pin Takeshita. Okada then says Takeshita will be a champion, just not the Continental Champion b***h. Takeshita thfen gets in Okada’s face and Okada walks off.


Darby has something to say


Darby Allin is in the ring and says someone has been looking for him, and he calls out Jon Moxley. Jon Moxley comes through the crowd with Marina Shafir and once in the ring he says that it doesn’t matter what he saw, nothing has changed between them. Allin says that’s enough and there’s a lot he wants to talk to him about. Darby Allin says they both came from nothing and they never want to go back to that. Allin says when he broke in the business he wanted to be just like Jon Moxley. Darby tells a story of how he met Moxley in a high school on the independents. Allin says he would never do to Sting like he did to Bryan. Allin reminds Moxley that they are supposed to be family. Allin then says that he now knows he wants to be nothing like him.

Moxley says he’s cutting right to the chase. Moxley says that Allin’s title shot against Danielson isn’t happening at Grand Slam because the champion isn’t fit to compete and says that he wants Allin to hand over that title shot. Allin asks if he’s stupid and asks if he’s been drinking again. Allin says Mox didn’t earn it and he’s not just gonna give it to him. Darby says if Mox wants it so bad, then he’s going to have to do something about it. Moxley says if he wants him to earn it, he will and then challenges Allin to a match at Grand Slam where the title shot is on the line. Moxley says that the title shot is going to be his and he’ll teach him a hard lesson. Allin accepts and says if he wants to burn AEW to the ground don’t be surprised if he pulls him into the fire.


Christopher Daniels is backstage and says he doesn’t understand what Darby Allin just did putting his shot on the line. Nigel McGuinness then approaches Daniels and wants to talk to Tony Khan, telling Daniels to trust him.


AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match: AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May VS Queen Aminata


Aminata with the early advantage, but May is able to turn things around and drapes Aminata on the ring apron all while punching the spine. May with a boot to the side of her head. Back in the ring,  May climbs to the top and hits Aminata with a missile dropkick. May then sends Aminata into the top turnbuckle face first. May with an overhand chop. May then sits Aminata on the ropes and May looks for a reverse hurricanrana, but Aminata avoids it and hits a German Suplex on May.

May comes back and hits Aminata’s head off her knee, then hits her with a hanging DDT off the middle rope for a 2-count. May gets her up on her shoulders, but Aminata escapes and sends May right into the mat. Aminata climbs to the top and is looking for a Double Stomp, but May hits Aminata with a dropkick and follows it up with Storm Zero for the win.

Winner: Mariah May

After the match, May says she still hasn’t had her title celebration and says something is missing…someone is missing. May asks Mina Shirakawa to come back to AEW.


The Young Bucks are backstage and Matthew Jackson says when they first started AEW they wanted to have the greatest tag team division of all time, but they didn’t know that just meant them. Matthew says they are still here doing all the heavy lifting. They say they have tonight’s Casino Gauntlet to see if anyone is worthy to challenge the greatest tag team of this generation and they will be there in person to watch it.

A video package plays, recapping the hate between Jamie Hayter and Saraya.


“The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho, “The Bad Apple” Bryan Keith and “The Redwood” Big Bill VS Iron Savages (Bronson, Boulder and Jacked Jameson)


The match starts off with Jericho and Boulder and then Bill tags in. Bill and Boulder go at it and Boulder hits a clothesline on Bill. Keith and Jacked Jameson are then in as Keith sends Jameson crashing to the mat. Jericho then tags in and pins Jameson for the win.

Winners: The Learning Tree

After the match, Jericho grabs a mic and out from Cassidy’s bag he pulls out a picture of Orange Cassidy with Kris Statlander, Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor. Jericho makes fun of Cassidy for hanging onto that picture for so long and then demands his $7,000 for his jacket which was damages a while ago. Cassidy then appears on the Khan-O-Tron along with Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly. They are by a truck and then proceed to dump a whole bunch of coins into Jericho’s car and Cassidy places a dollar on one of the seats before taking the change in coins. Jericho is seen crying.


Nigel with an announcement


Nigel McGuinness is in the ring and says he has something he needs to get off his chest. McGuinness says with Allin putting his title opportunity on the line against Moxley at Grand Slam, that means there won’t be an AEW World Title match and says that’s good for Danielson, but it’s not good for AEW. Nigel says he believes the AEW World Championship should be on the line at Dynamite’s biggest show of the year. McGuinness takes out a contract and says he’s always been an afterthought and that Danielson is afraid of him. McGuinness says Danielson is afraid of the one match everyone wants to see, but Tony Khan isn’t afraid and knows a money match when he sees one. McGuinness announces that he will face Danielson at AEW Grand Slam.

FTW Champion HOOK says he respects Roderick Strong, but once Strong’s buddies attacked him, things changed. HOOK then says that is not the Strong he respects, and then challenges Strong to a match anytime anywhere.


Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match


The winner gets a title shot at AEW Grand Slam. The bucks are out watching this live. Here is the order of teams coming in:

As the match went out we saw The Grizzled Young Veterans out. James Drake and Zack Gibson brawl with Harwood and Wheeler to the back. Ospreay is just staring at them a bit bewildered.  Magnum then Suplexes Mansoor onto everyone else on the outside off of the middle rope. Back in the ring, The Outrunners double-team Mansoor and Magnum mgoes for the pin, but Vincent pulls him out of the ring to break the pin. They then brawl with Floyd, but Darius flies to land on the four men and hits Vincent with a missile dropkick. Bennett then hits Darius with a piledriver, but Fletcher hits a Brainbuster. Dante then climbs to the top and dives onto Fletcher, but gets his knees up and Ospreay hits him with the Hidden Blade. Fletcher with the pin on Dante as Ospreay makes sure no one breaks it.

Winner: To Face the Young Bucks at Grand Slam; Kyle Fletcher & Will Ospreay

After the match the Bucks confront Fletcher and Ospreay to end the show.
