Sid Eudy, who was at various times, Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, Sycho Sid/Psycho Sid, left a hole in the hearts of many colleagues, friends, family and fans. Here are some of the memories following the announcement of his death on August 26, 2024.

Pco Pierre Carl Ouellet: RIP big brother Sidney Eudy. No! It’s Impossible. We were always together and having fun always. He came to my gym, my house and he knew every member of my family. I spent months with him at his house with his Family My Sympathies to Sid’s wife Sabrina and(his sons)Franky & Gunner. Tank-You for all your help and for those great memories.

I’m very saddened by the lost of my best friend ever, in this business. On the phone lately, I felt something wasn’t right with Sid but he never said anything. He would send multiple videos of his grand children. He was so proud. Here we are on a tour WWE with Triple H in Germany in 1995 .

Sting on X: One of the most believable big men EVER. I loved working with Sid and will miss him.

Ric Flair on X: So Sorry To Hear Of The Passing Of Sid Justice. For All Of You Out There That Have Known That We Hadn’t Gotten Along In Business- The Last Time I Saw Him, We Hugged, He Called Me Champ, And I Said Thank You! He Has A Beautiful Family, And His Family Should Know That He Was Much More Than A Softball Player. A Man. Period. Rest In Peace!

Michael PS Hayes on X: So sorry to hear of Sid passing. Sid was an extremely unique Talent that combined power with thought provoking promos. My prayers and condolences to his family, friends and fans.

Booker T. Huffman on X: Without Sid Vicious, I don’t think my brother and I would have made it to WCW. His impact on this business was undeniable, and he paved the way for so many of us. My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time. #RIPSid

Vince Russo on X: Always so good to me. So underrated. One of the best Promo Guys that nobody ever talks about. God Bless you my friend.

Diamond Dallas Page on X: Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that Sid Eudy has passed on. Sid had such a presence. When Sid Vicious stepped through the curtain, you knew you were looking at someone special. He had it all and he looked as impressive as anyone to ever enter the squared circle. I had no idea he was fighting a battle with cancer. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. RIP brother

Marc Mero on X: So sad to hear that friend and wrestling superstar Sid Eudy (Sid Vicious & Sid Justice) has passed away at 63 from cancer. He was one of the first wrestlers I wrestled when I was trying out for WCW. What a great guy. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and his millions of fans.

Bull Buchanan on Facebook: I first saw Sid as Lord Humongous in AL and became a fan. I watched how he presented himself and tried to incorporate it into my presentation. Got to work with him in Memphis and he always looked out for me afterwards. Helped me put together my first WWE match in Nashville. Saw him in Charlotte at The Gathering. Rest in peace big guy.

Jim Ross on X: Sad to hear of the passing of Sid Eudy aka Sid Vicious. Quite the attraction!

Jim Valley on X: Sid wasn’t a classic wrestler. He was a businessman. Just because his career was more about his look, doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be fondly remembered. Obviously, he gave young fans cherished memories. He didn’t take a lot of bumps or have great matches. He didn’t have to. RIP Sid

JakeSnakeDDT on X: I’m shocked and saddened to learn that Sid Eudy passed away today. What an incredible look and presence. He certainly left his mark on our business. I send my prayers and best wishes to his family. RIP Sid.

Sebastian Wolfe on X: As a kid, no one was more convincing as a villain. Psycho Sid legit scared me, the music, the size, his aura. He was as legit as it got. RIP to the master and ruler of the world #Legend

Adam Pearce on Facebook: Rest well, Sid. I’ll forever appreciate the good times. The microchip pitch to Marquez! Making the sheriff’s dept drive 100mph+ from Tulsa to Enid with lights/sirens blaring only to get there when the show was over. NEVER EVER a dull moment. Life is too short. Godspeed. ❤️🙏

David Marquez on Facebook: Never a dull moment indeed. Too many stories. He was either killing me one day or loving me the next. My apologies to everyone who took those powerbombs while on tour (you too John Cone). So long Sid, you made things more exciting and for the record it was all Carmine’s fault!

Joe Dombrowski on Facebook: Sid was the definition of a star aura and presence and someone who could draw money from just looking at him. No matter what era he was in or what he was doing, he felt like the coolest thing you’d ever seen. RIP

Mike Bucci on X: “Big Sid” was always cool to me anytime I was around him. Not gonna lie, I took the power bomb from him in ECW and internally, I popped huge for it. I did a WWWA tour in Australia before I went to the WWE and we ate breakfast together every morning for about a week and worked out together a bunch too. One of the smartest guys I ever met in the business.
I was there alongside Bobby Britt the night we both watched him put over Rik Ratchet in the middle of the ring on an Indy show. Saw it with my own two eyes. Still one of the most surreal things I have ever seen.
He was cool as hell. Rip Sid. My thoughts go out to his family.

Eric Bischoff on X: So very sad to hear of the passing of Sid Eudy. I have nothing but the fondest memories of working with Sid. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans. #MuchRespectSid

Harry Smith on Facebook: Thoughts are prayers go out to @sychosidvicious Sycho Sid. 🙏🙏🙏 I knew Sid for many years growing up and would chat with him backstage when I was just a young pup. Sid was always super cool and friendly. I then got to catch up with him years later at a signing event. Sid asked me “How in the bleep did you get so tall?” Hahaha.
My coach Tokyo Joe also was the first guy to send Sid to Japan. He obviously saw Sid’s drawing power and appeal. Tokyo Joe even joined Sid on a first trip to New Japan, and as he was showing Sid some stuff in the ring at the New Japan dojo. Joe told me he heard the door open quietly and without even looking, his 6th sense told him it was Inoki San. Joe said “Hey Inoki San, been a long time huh?”
Inoki laughed and came in for he ring and greeted them both. And explained to Sid what the company was wanting from him as a character.
Master of the Powerhomb! R.I.P. but I guess we will never know who was more of a psycho…Me? Or Sid? Hahaha Jk 😜
R.I.P. Sid San 🙏🙏🙏

Kevin “THORN” Fertig on X: He was a Huge part of my Wrestling Journey! If we wouldn’t have met at a Golds Gym in Memphis, TN I probably never would have had the opportunities I was given. He taught me a lot ,gave me my 1st pair of boots and I am forever grateful! Thank you my Friend for everything! #RIPSID

Brian Heffron / Blue Meanie: One of my favorite entrance themes ever. Sid’s 1st WCW theme called “China White” by the band The Scorpions. The opening line mentions the phrase “Rules The World”. Makes me wonder if Sid got the line “Sid Rules The World” from this. Rest in peace, Sid.
