It is being reported that even more WWE employees tested positive for the COVID-19 virus before last week’s television tapings.
This is perhaps why certain WWE talent are no longer appearing live on camera.
Pro Wrestling Sheet puts the current number of WWE employees who have contracted the virus to be at 30. This number represents in-ring and behind the scenes talent.
Last week, it was announced that there is now a mandatory policy in place that requires WWE employees to wear masks unless they are performing on camera. For the first infraction employees will be fined $500 for a second $1000.
WWE producer Jamie Noble, extra ‘The Ultimate Pusher’ Tyreke, WWE Producer Adam Pearce, Kayla Braxton and Renee Young have all publicly revealed they have contracted the virus.
According an anonymous source, WWE’s talent relations department is instructing wrestlers who have contracted the COVID-19 virus that they are forbidden to discuss their personal situation publicly.
