She was there for a short time not a long time.
Joining the NXT roster in 2022 and moving up to the main roster this year, it seems that Kiana James (Kayla Klingensmith) is either off with an injury, an issue or she is no longer with the WWE. James was drafted to Raw this spring.
Word is she has been pulled from the main roster and the active roster. She has been moved to the “Misc” section on the WWE’s official site.

During her time in NXT her big moments were her feuds against Fallon Henley and Roxanne Perez. She also held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with Fallon Henley one time.
Although she defeated Natalya in her main roster debut match in June she hasn’t received any kind of a push or angle to boost her Raw status.
She hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since June 17th. There has been no official word by WWE on James’ status.
