NWA Powerrr: The Federation of Champions look for a ‘Thrill’

It’s time for an NWA Powerrr where The Royal Court of “King” Trevor Murdoch I will face Cristiano Argento and some handpicked men for a Neo Roman Triumvirate.  Plus, “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason and Alex Taylor take on Lockjaw Drake and Buster in the main event against the members of the Federation of Champions.

We come to you from The PowerrrStation in Tampa, FL. Joe Galli, Tim Storm, and Danny Dealz have the call, and The Royal Court comes out en masse, and the King delivers this decree:

“As King of The Royal Court, we travel far and wide, and when we travel to these lands, we bring gifts.

We bring gifts, Kyle of the Davis. To this land, we bring something that has never been seen before. We bring…soap. Soap. Do they not know so?

Do you see how I control this room? Right now, you are about to see a spectacle of The Royal Court of strength and speed. So stand tall and give us the praise we deserve as we entertain you, You commoners.

So let it be written. So let it be done.”

Tiffany Nieves is cradled in the arms of Gretta as they plot ways to end Natalia Markova

That leads to your First Match of the Night between…

“King” Trevor Murdoch I (with Sir Michael, Duke of Knox, Squire Tyler Franks, and Jacob the Necromancer ) vs. Cristiano Argento and The McCord Collection (Bonezz, The Man They Call Frank, and Brandon McCord)

McCord and Franks start with McCord giving a hip toss and talking smack to Argento.

Now Jacob and Bonezz are in and he causes problems for the Squire until a knee to the back by Jacob magically stops the momentum.

He is cut off and isolated in the Royal Court, and Bonezz is getting broken while in Peril.  The Voodoo Practitioner dropkicks Jacob, and now Argento gets the tag and gets the jump on the King, and this is a Royal Cluster in the squared circle.

Jacob hits with magic powder in the eyes of McCord, but Frank is there with a choke slam.  Everyone unloads the big ammo, but Knox and Murdoch deliver a Royal high/ low to sustain the kingdom.

Your Winners via Pinfall:  King Trevor Murdoch I and The Royal Court

Now for singles action, and it is for the…

NWA World Television Championship: MZRY(c) vs. Kratos

Kratos is back in singles action, and he is hungry for gold.  Bad luck for MZRY, who has four title defenses on the way to the “lucky seven” of earning a title shot at the Ten Pounds of Gold.

Television time rules are in play with 6:05 on the clock, and The Most Feared struggles with MZRY’s unorthodox style until he gets a knee to the face as he dives outside.  Now Kratos is in control and chops away at the champ.  He bounces MZRY around like a rubber ball, and suplexes him from coast to coast.

Kratos props him on the top rope, but the NWA Television champ escapes and nails an avalanche poison ‘rana.

With 1:00 ticking away, he hits a crossbody that Kratos catches, rolls through, and nails a Michinoku Driver, and both men are wiped out.  With :20 left on the clock, Kratos is ready to swing, but time runs out and then…

Your Winner via Time Expiration:  MZRY

Per the rules of the Television title, a technical loss for Kratos means a fifth defense for MZRY and a step closer to a title shot.  The fans don’t like that and chant, “Let them fight!” That brings out El Dragón Nihan, and he stares down Kratos until MZRY tells him to hold back.

Natalia Markova has a message for Nieves. She promises that she will beat Gretta next week, as she compares herself to David and her Goliath, and we know how that story goes.

Time for another championship match, and it’s for the…

NWA World Women’s Championship: Tiffany Nieves(c)(with Ms. Starr and Gretta) vs. Ruby Red

Nieves is aggressive towards Red, but the newcomer has a few moves for La Princesa in this title bout.  It isn’t long before the champ picks her apart and hits a modified Pedigree for one, two…and Nieves pulls her up.

Markova is out and throws in the towel. She still hits another Pedigree on Red until the ref calls it.  Therefore…

Your Winner via Forfeiture:  Tiffany Nieves

Markova gets in the champ’s grill until a Gretta grabs her and delivers a choke slam.

Things do not look good for Markova ahead of next week.

Mason and Taylor are backstage, and they are hot.  But when you’re not…you’re not them.

On The Carson Drake Experience is Brandon McCord, and he is curious how his Collection of Souls will face The Hardway next week for the NWA US tag titles. Let’s say he has some thoughts on the matter.

Now for the Main Event, and this tag team match is between…

“Thrillbilly” Silas Mason and Alex Taylor vs. Lockjaw Drake and Buster

They jump the Federation of Champion members after the intros and waste no time going for a beatdown.  Taylor dives at Lockjaw and sends Buster to a ring post.

Mason, for his part, “dives” out at Buster, too.

The match goes outside, and Taylor drags Buster in the ring and mounts with punches.  He punches Lockjaw in the jaw and almost busts his hand, but that allows Buster the opportunity to slam him to the mat and then…

Ads (where The Country Gentlemen discuss the latest challeneg from a debutting duo known as Live Danger, but they aren’t worried, as they’ll beat them…By The Book.)

We come back, and Taylor is in Peril and is not looking Too Hot and cannot Trot away.  He rolls away and attempts a tag, but Lockjaw pulls Mason away at the last minute.

He tries to go after Buster, but the ref stops him.  The masked man goes back to work on Taylor, and then he and Lockjaw attempt a double suplex.  Taylor escapes and gets the hot tag to Mason, and it is a Thrill.
Buster goes on a ThrillRide, and Taylor delivers the Green Whistle on Lockjaw for the one, two, and three.

Your Winners via Pinfall:  “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason and Alex Taylor

The stars still shine in the Southern sky as the show comes to a close.
