This NWA Powerrr gets to the semifinals, and it’s still anyone’s match to win The Crockett Cup in the National Wrestling Alliance.
The Titans of Calamity look to dismantle the Wrestling Machines of Slade and Mike Mondo, and The Country Gentlemen, KC and AJ Cazana, want to spoil the hopes of The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson. Plus Natalia Markova puts up The Burke against “Supreme” Sirena Veil in the main event.
We come to you from The OC Theatre in Forney, TX. Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Danny Dealz have the call. Your First Match of the Night is…

Carson Bartholomew Drake (with Aron Stevens) vs. Wrecking Ball Legursky
Legursky wants to provide “feedback” after appearing on last week’s “Carson Drake Experience” podcast.
Right away, America’s Favorite Superheavyweight chops him to the floor, and Stevens gives him some advice on how to handle the big man.

Drake stuns Legursky on the top rope and goes for a double axe handle from up top. He can’t match the power of Legursky and goes on a ride on the ropes. Then he tries to slide away from the big man but his lack of ring awareness lands him right to the middle of the ring post, and Legursky adds more injury to his…err, little CBDs.

He chop blocks Legursky behind the knee and now finally gets on offense. He covers, and Legursky tosses him off to tumble to the floor. Now America’s Favorite Superheavyweight gets a second wind, and Drake eats a massive hip check in the corner. Stevens tosses in a coat and pulls his protégé out of harms way. Legursky chases the Manager of Championship and has him in his sights, but that allows Drake to deliver a Market Crash (Skull Crushing Finale) to get the tainted win.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Crason Drake
After the match, Drake makes it clear to Legursky, “You can’t beat me.”

David Crockett recalls Ric Flair defending the Ten Pounds of Gold at every Crockett Cup, and lists off some matches. Before someone complains why we can’t see clips of those matches, I would direct you send those complaints to the good people at Stamford about that, for all the good that’ll do.
Now it is time for the first …

Crockett Cup Semifinal Match: The Country Gentlemen (KC and AJ Cazana, with Joe Cazana) (No. 6 Seed) vs. The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and “Machine Gun Karl Anderson) (No. 2 Seed)
The Good Brothers are the odds-on favorite after The Immortals lost to the Titans of Calamity, and this would be a nice feather in the cap after their multiple title wins.
Right away, Anderson and Galolows show the Cazanas why they are just Too Sweet as a tag team tandem. But once they isolate the Machine Gun, AJ and KC make a case for their tag team bona fides, including a well-timed White Lightning leg drop.

He gives a jawbreaker to AJ, and Anderson tries to get the tag, but the Bullheaded Brute maintains wrist control. Anderson finally escapes to get the hot tag to Gallows and The Big LG is En Fuego and it is Too Sweet.

He and Anderson single out KC and Gallows with a corner splash and prepare for the Magic Killer. Before they can deliver the finish, Papa Joe distracts the ref, and as Anderson goes after the Gentleman patriarch, Gallows gets clocked on the skull with the NWA rulebook, and KC rolls him up with a handful of tights, and that means…
Your Winners, and Advancing in The Crockett Cup Finals: The Country Gentlemen
Once again, the bracket is busted, but you know the Country Gentlemen will argue they did it…By the Book.
With that, we head to the next…

Crockett Cup Semifinal Match: The Titans of Calamity (Jack Talos and Ren Ayabe) (No. 16 Seed) vs. The Wrestling Machines (Slade and Mike Mondo, With Aron Stevens) (No. 4 Seed)
Talos and Ayabe are making the case for why they tower over the competition, and the height disparity is definitely apparent compared to Mondo and Slade. But the Machines have technical acumen and have proven it in capturing gold with the NWA National and Junior Heavyweight titles, respectively. While they are unmatched in singles competition, this will be their biggest test (literally) in the tag ranks.
Slade locks up against Talos, and the big man tosses the submission specialist to the corner. Mondo comes in, and it’s more of the same. He starts chopping Talos to size, but it has little effect. Tag to Ayabe with a corner splash to a scoop and a slam, followed by an elbow drop on the National champion.

He locks in a sleeper, and Mondo waves in Slade, who chop blocks the All Japan star at the back of his knee. Now, he and Slade target the bad wheel, and Ayabe is a Titan in Calamity. Slade attempts a single-leg crab, but he pushes him off. Tag to Mondo, and he leaps from the top rope for a Headbutt dive, and he belly flops in the center of the ring. A hot tag to Talos, and he is en Fuego in a gigantic style.

A choke slam is teased by Talos, but the Machines put a stop to that. Ayabe aids his partner, and now they make Mondo ride the lightning, and they earn the pin and the win.
Your Winners, and Advancing to The Crockett Cup Finals: The Titans of Calamity
Ayabe and Talos stand victorious as they are one match away from making history as the first sixteenth seed to claim the cup.

NWA Women’s champion Natalia Markova gives a message to Sirena Veil ahead of their title match that she doesn’t shirk from a fight and is ready to defend the Burke and still remain the women’s champion

In the ring with Kyle Davis is “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason with The Southern Six, along with Bryan Idol, ahead of their No Holds Barred title match for the Ten. Ricky Morton addresses Idol and says he’s had multiple title shots but came up short. He wonders if he’s a stooge. He asks Mason, and…well, let’s have the champ get a few words in:

“You know, Brian, I ain’t got a lot to be happy about tonight.
My two best friends didn’t advance in the Crockett Cup, and so the only thing I got to look forward to is kicking your ass all over this arena, and we know you ain’t too bright, because you’ve stepped in there with the biggest man who’s ever lived. Three times [you faced me for the title]. I guess if brains were gasoline, you wouldn’t have enough for a pissant to drive a dirt bike around a BB.
But you got guts, kid, and so tonight, next week…whenever, we’re going to see those guts spill all over this ring. ‘Cause you ain’t just stepping in there for the Ten Pounds of Gold, you’re gonna be facing Silas Mason!”
Idol then retorts to Big Daddy Thrill:
“You know, Ricky Morton brings up an interesting point. This will be my fourth title shot here in the NWA, and this…
You know what? You’ve beaten me again and again, Silas. But here’s the thing: every time you beat me, every time you knocked me down, I got back up, and every time that I got back up, I learned a little more. Which brings me to my point. I’m still learning things, because the way I see it, Silas, I think I learned tonight that you must be wearing a diaper, because obviously you’re crapping your pants at the thought of stepping in with this ring with me again.
Because you got 1-2-3-4 people here, and I’m one guy, and I’m standing right here ready to do what I do, and take home the Ten Pounds of Gold.”

Time for the Main Event for the…

NWA World Women’s Championship: “The Crush” Natalia Markova(c) vs. “The Supreme,” Sirena Veil
Markova has been a fighting champion since claiming The Burke, and wants to give the rising Supreme a shot at the title.
The bell rings, and Veil strikes first at the champ. It quickly becomes a slugfest, and both women trade forearms. Markova trips her up he connects with a boot
Veil then gets her between the ropes and then boots her unceremoniously to the floor.

We come back, and Veil is taking it to the champ with a senton and covers for a two count. Then she gives kicks to the cranium, and Markova is showing some crimson in the cheek. A standing dropkick by the champ and a running knee strike allow her to cover for a count of two. Markova attempts a missile dropkick, and she moves at the last minute. Veil uses the moment to connect with a belly to back suplex and then follows with a facebuster for a near fall.

The Supreme goes for a Meteora, and Veil gets another close two count. She attempts her Bloodbath finisher, but it gets averted, and this time Markova connects the missile dropkick and delivers the Beautiful Disaster to pin in one, two, and three.
Your Winner, and Still NWA Women’s World Champion: Natalia Markova
After the match, Gretta comes out and tries to intimidate her. She nails a choke slam to leave Markova out cold. That brings out Tiffany Nieves, who comes out to cash in on her opportunity. She gets a boot on the prone body to win in one, two, and three.

La Princesa is now La Reina of the Women’s division, holding The Burke aloft while on Gretta’s shoulders as the show comes to a close.
