NWA Powerrr: Silas Mason wants the ‘Thrill’ of beating Kerry Morton

On this NWA Powerrr, the Pretty Empowered duo of Kylie and Kenzie Paige will face The Hex as they invoke their rematch for the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championship. Also, the hatred between Kerry Morton and “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason reaches a fever pitch as the Ten Pounds of Gold are on the line. Add to that, Alex Taylor steps between his friends to be the special guest referee.

The Southern Six are going to super implode. But who will hold the top title in the National Wrestling Alliance after everything is said and done?

We’ll find out as we come to you from ThePowerrrStation in Tampa, FL, and the show opens with Mason having strong words for Morton ahead of the main event tonight:

.The Slimeballz brought in Buster to fill out the ranks of the Federation of Champions, and Aron Stevens is nonplussed. All I can say is that a big man wearing a ski mask over your head is gonna be an imposing figure, so maybe Chatz and Rant have a good idea here.

8-Man Tag Team Match: The Federation of Champions (Sage Chantz, Tommy Rant, Lockjaw Drake, and Buster) vs. The McCord Collection (Alex Misery, Gilroy, Bonez, and Brandon McCord)

So, two things of note. Stevens does not come out to join his federation of champions (most likely because of The Slimeballz), and El Nihan DragΓ³n is not with the Collection at ringside. Galli explains he’s saving him for the HardTimes signature event.

Oh, and Gaagz is now “Gilroy,” apparently. The Gymp is dead. Long live Gilroy, I guess.

Anyway, Chantz and Gilroy start the match, and he almost outgrosses the Slimeball by licking his palm before tying him up. A Tag to Rant and Bonez, and they headbang like Slipknot was playing. It’s back to Chantz, and the Collection takes turns making him a Slimeball in Peril.

He manages to get out of the corner, and it’s a tag to Buster, and the masked man manhandles The Collection one by one. Tag to Lockjaw, but the action goes to the outside as Misery dives with a corkscrew moonsault on all the men.

Back in, Gilroy attempts a jawbreaker but knocks himself out as Lockjaw is unfazed and pins with one boot.

I’ll say this: Lockjaw is developing a personality… even if the personality is a granite slab.

In the ring with Kyle Davis are Daisy Kill and Big Cuzzo, and they have some business. Kill claims to turn giants into gods, and he tells the Tampa crowd to sit and watch the show.

With that, your next match is…

J.A.C. (with Eric Smalls)vs. Big Cuzzo (with Daisy Kill)

J.A.C. and Cuzzo start off, and both men aren’t going down to shoulder tackles and chops, but something has to give. J.A.C. is in the driver’s seat until Cuzzo gives him snake eyes on the top turnbuckle, followed by a big boot for a two count.

He takes off his bandana and chokes him with it, and Cuzzo slams him to the mat, but it knocks the wind out of him just as much as his opponent. Now
Kill gets involved but gets a shot in his…err, little Daisies, courtesy of Smalls.

That allows J.A.C. to give Kill a second rope elbow drop and then a jackhammer to Cuzzo, ending the match.

Time for another episode of the Carson Drake Experience with the Paige Sisters and their rematch against The Hex. Drake asks about Kylie tossing out Kenzie at the Burke Invitational, and they aren’t dealing with his toxic masculinity.

Still, all things being equal, I much prefer this experience to any experience with Joe Rogan.

NWA Women’s World Tag Team Championship: Pretty Empowered (Kylie and Kenzie Paige, with Tommy Henry)(c) vs. The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle)

Pretty Empowered shake hands in a show of sportsmanship, with an attempt to try to blindside The Hex. Belle and Kay weren’t born yesterday, and they aren’t having it and sending them outside for a beating.

The Hex are incensed and display their tag chemistry, with Belle adding the punctuation with a boot worthy of Lionel Messi.

Belle and Kylie go to work, and each nails with big boots, knocking each other out, and that leads to…

Ads (where Mason hypes up what he’s going to do to Kerry Morton in the main event, after the stunt he pulled at The Crockett Cup

We come back, and Kenzie tags in and sends Belle out and goes up against Kay. She hits a headscissors takedown to a crossface, but Kay picks her up before she can cinch the submission.

Kenzie tags back her sister, and she connects with a shining Wizard for a two count. The fight goes outside the ring, and that’s where Kylie gets spiked with a powerbomb on the apron edge.

The Hex are getting their second wind and set up Hex Marks he Spot, but Kenzie trips up Marti, and Kylie reverses to a Code Red for another count of two. Now it’s a good old-fashioned Donnybrook with all four women. The end comes when Kylie manages to hit a powerbomb as Kenzie injures Belle’s arm, and then a basement dropkick to Kay solidifies the win.

After the match, Veil comes out with Paige Collett to beat down Pretty Empowered and Tommy Henry, and they stand tall over them with their tag belts.
