On this NWA Powerrr, Mike Mondo has proven to be an indomitable National Champion. Bryan Idol feels his time has come, and he wants a shot at the belt.

Grudge Match: Thom Latimer vs. El DragΓ³n Nihan ( with Brandon McCord)

Latimer is not waiting, and after the abuse he got from the monster a few weeks ago, he jumps and goes to work to slay the DragΓ³n, who barely budges. He dropkicks him out of the ring and tries to add more injury, but ends up eating a steel post.

Back in the squared circle, DragΓ³n continues to lay a beat down on the Grand Slam champion. Even McCord gets in on the action but receives a Side of Suffering. DragΓ³n uses the moment to deal a choke slam for a two count.

He props him up on the top turnbuckle, but Latimer manages to flip over for a powerbomb to end the match.

A little quick, but I got a feeling this isn’t over between the two.

Now to the Carson Drake Experience podcast, and his guests are Lockjaw Drake and “Buster.” Lockjaw is keeping things under lock and key, even though “buster” is a bit of a blabbermouth, and Carson can’t help but wonder how familiar this guy is.

Hell, I went down to Boulevard, and that two-minute trick wouldn’t even show up there, because he knows when the ‘Thrillbilly’ gets his hands on him, I’m gonna knock his eye more crooked than his real daddy, Robert Gibson.

Because Kerry, you can run, boy, but you can’t hide from the Thrillride.”

The Country Gentlemen are traveling Europe, and they’re doing it by the book.

Colby Corino vs. Axton Ray

This is the return of Corino to the squared circle after a year off from injury, which has been well documented.

There is no ring rust from The Prince of Old School as he battles Ray, and he is no slouch. He ricochets around and is more than a match, but is unable to put away Corino.

He lands a clothesline to Ray on the apron edge and follows with a swanton in the ring.

After a Sonsetter for a count of two, Corino manages to drive him down to the mat for the pin and the win.

That brings us back to the ring as King Trevor the First gives a royal decree as he has now added Jacob The Necromancer to his court.

I’m curious if Jacob will be able to conjure an assistant. Preferably someone Brazilian.

I digress.

The Slimeballz are upset they lost the NWA US Tag Titles to The Hardway, and it gets a little slimy between Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant.

Effy is now in the NWA, and he cuts a promo about taking the brand to new heights as he sets up a match with Kratos next week.

Gotta say, that sounds like a gay old time.

Up next is a…

Six Man Tag Match: The Royal Court (King Trevor the First, Sir Michael, Duke of Knox, and Squire Tyler Franks, with Jacob the Necromancer) vs. Big Strong Mims and The Light

King Trevor starts, but it isn’t long before he gets the Duke and the Squire to isolate Mims, and the Court have their way, leaving him in Big Strong Peril. Mims manages to reverse his fortune and gives a Sidewalk slam and a splash to Franks for a two count, and now The Light jumps in.

Say what you will about two guys wrestling in suits with white masks, but they got style and tag team chemistry.

The Duke comes in to wreak havoc, as Mims is knocked outside and gets blinded by The Necromancer with a green mist. Then the Duke and Franks give a high-low to knock out of of The Lights, allowing King Trevor a Kings Landing for the win.

NWA National Heavyweight Championship: Mike Mondo(with Aron Stevens)(c) vs. Bryan Idol

The bell rings, and they hammer away at each other. There’s a nice back-and-forth, but Mondo is in the driver’s seat. Idol spears him to the outside and slips back in before th ten count is enforced.

Mondo with a one-armed stunner covers and gets a two count, and then goes for the Gut Check but Idol wriggles out.

A moonsault misses, and Mondo attempts a diving head butt and gets Idol’s knees for his troubles. They jockey for position, but Idol flips over for a pin, and the ref counts for the one, two, and three.

Before Idol can celebrate his new belt, Slade slips in, and he and Mondo give a double DDT and whip him mercilessly in front of his mom. The action spills to the outside and Mondo pushes his mom to the ground, as Stevens mocks her as the show comes to a close.
