Logan Paul is still some time away from getting back in the ring.
Logan Paul has been out of action since May, when he suffered a torn triceps during a tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. After undergoing surgery shortly after, the former United States Champion was given an estimated recovery timetable of six months.
Despite this, he has continued to appear on TV alongside The Vision, and now he has been given an update on when he might be able to get back in the ring.
On his latest vlog, Paul went to Triple H‘s office to speak to WWE doctors about when he would be able to wrestle again. When he was asked how he was feeling, Paul claimed he felt good and ready to be cleared, although in the vlog he showed clips of hurting himself when trying to train in the gym.
“If this line of questioning is to assess my capability, I’m totally ready to be cleared.”
The doctors disagreed, telling Paul he still had two months of recovery before he could be cleared, although the star claimed he would be able to heal faster than an average person.
“The only thing with that estimate is that’s what it takes an average person, but I’m obviously not average.”
The doctor went on to tell Paul that currently, the risk of returning early outweighed any benefit. When the star asked if he could “negotiate,” the best response he got was five and a half months from the time of the injury.
Logan Paul Undergoing New Treatment For Injury
In August, Logan Paul revealed that he was undergoing a new type of treatment for his injury. Platelet-rich plasma therapy involves taking this blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from plasma and platelets, then re-injecting it into the injured area. while Paul was hopeful it would speed up his recovery time, the latest news suggests it didn’t have the intended effect.
