WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has revealed that he once earned nearly $15 million in a single year during his legendary professional wrestling career.
The 61-year-old made the revelation during a recent encounter with social media creator The School of Hard Knocks, who questioned him about his financial success. During the conversation, The Undertaker was initially asked how old he was when he became a millionaire.
“I was 27,” he replied.
The former WWE Champion was then asked to reveal the largest amount of money he had earned in a single year.
“Just shy of $15 million,” Undertaker responded.
Although he disclosed the impressive figure, Undertaker did not specify which year he earned the money or whether the total came exclusively from his WWE contract and wrestling appearances.
The Undertaker Reflects On Financial Success During WWE Career
The Undertaker is widely regarded as one of the most recognisable and successful performers in professional wrestling history, having spent more than three decades associated with WWE.
After a brief spell with WCW, Calaway joined WWE, then known as the World Wrestling Federation, in 1990 and debuted as The Undertaker. He became one of the company’s defining attractions and remained with the promotion for the rest of his in-ring career.
His longevity and popularity established him as a central figure in WWE, where he became a multiple-time world champion and developed one of wrestling’s most enduring characters. The Undertaker officially retired from in-ring competition in November 2020, ending his career exactly 30 years after his WWE debut.
Despite stepping away from wrestling matches, he has maintained a relationship with WWE and remains involved in the industry. More recently, The Undertaker has taken on responsibilities behind the scenes with AAA in Mexico, where he has been involved in booking the promotion’s shows.
His involvement comes as WWE continues to work with the Mexican wrestling organisation.
