Logan Paul has provided an update on his recovery from a torn triceps and detailed the new treatment he is undergoing.
Logan Paul suffered the injury when he and Austin Theory were defending the World Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits on Saturday Night’s Main Event back in May. After undergoing surgery, Paul was given an estimated recovery timetable of six months. However, he recently said that while it will have the longest recovery period of any of his injuries so far, it hasn’t been too inconvenient.
In a new YouTube vlog, Paul said it felt like people might have forgotten how serious the injury is, reminding fans that, despite still appearing on WWE TV, he is “very much injured.” He then explained that he is now undergoing Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to treat the muscle.
“I think people have forgotten that I tore my tricep off the bone. Still very much injured, but I’m healing very fast though. It’s ’cause I’m religious about recovery and I’m doing something today called PRP.”
Paul showed the camera two large syringes of blood that had been taken out from his arm. The PRP therapy involves taking this blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from plasma and platelets, then re-injecting it into the injured area.
“So that’s what they’re gonna do, alright, they take my blood and they put it in a centrifuge, I think it’s called, and they spin it around. Then something happens there, I don’t know what, but I think it has to do with the cells. I think it’s the white blood cells that get separated, which are the healing cells. Then they take those and they’ll put it back in my tricep.”
The video, which you can see below, went on to show Paul having the blood put back into his system.
Logan Paul Refutes Claim He Has Heat With Bron Breakker
Recently, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman claimed that Bron Breakker doesn’t get on with Logan Paul. Paul responded to the comments, saying simply, “Wtf lol.” Coachman also claimed that he’s heard Breakker is unhappy with his position in WWE, with Austin Theory being pushed ahead of him in The Vision.
